The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status. The head chef is Pakistani and sources the halal meat from Restaurant Depot. One of our readers spoke to the owner (from Nepal) and he assured us the meat is halal.
★★★★ I have been to this restaurant about three times now and the food has been consistently good. We tried their buffet, which consists of a Mexican section and an Indian section. The Mexican section has chicken fajitas; cheese, beef, chicken enchiladas; refried beans; Mexican rice and much more. There are normally four items on the Indian buffet and they are all surprisingly good (better than many other Desi establishments). The buffet is for lunch hours (11-3pm) and they have a very good selection for the dinner menu. The restaurant has been in Westminster for many years and has change hands many times. The current owner seems determined to excel in food quality and service. The restaurant is clean and the staff is very polite. This is the first restaurant in Westminster to serve Indian food and I hope they do well. If you want good halal Mexican and Indian food, then I would recommend going to this restaurant.
