★★★★★ This place is under new management, with a new name Saray Restaurant. It still serves Turkish dishes. The food is excellent, and the ambiance is very good. There is no alcohol served, and the owners are practising Muslims. Posted on September 29, 2006 |

★★★★★ I went there with my entire family (wife and 2 baby girls) and the food and service was great. It was very authentic Turkish. THe staff was fast and pretty friendly. It was however, very smoky due to all the grilling done in the restaurant. I suppose they will fix that soon. The Lahmacun was fantastic that night and on the many take outs we had since. The Karisik Kebab was very good and tasty. Overall a very good family restaurant. Posted on April 11, 2006 |

★★☆☆☆ The tacky name and red-and-white exterior masks a pretty lovely restaurant interior; it's spacious and nicely decorated. I was dismayed to find in a halal restaurant that they not only serve alcohol, but advertise that everywhere ("Belly dancing. Full Bar, Great Music. Turkish Wines and Beer"). That completely turned me off. They have a large menu with great variety. I tried the take-out and wasn't impressed- rice was bland, chicken dry, shawerma way too spicy and more like hamburger cubes than sliced meat. Also waited for a l-o-n-g time. Maybe if they get more experience the foot and wait will be better, at the moment I'm not going back. Posted on March 22, 2006 |
