★★★★☆ They Deliver Halal food! 4 Stars JUST for that. $2/delivery surcharge (think pizza the hut and others, and you won't mind)
Had a cheeseburger w/fries and chicken wings. Wings come with dipping sauces -- I'd prefer them sauced. So the jerk chicken turned out to be just a spicy-mayo dipping sauce. Burger was okay but not well-done: tasted fried, greasy.
So, food alone, maybe 3 stars. W/delivery (great service, too), in downtown DC, on a Sunday no less: 4 stars. Might try pizza next, and that could make up the distance. Posted on September 22, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Today Sept.2, 2013 after conclusion of ISNA Conference in DC I met the owner today before ordering. Mateen Sahib verified in person the halal meats for chicken, beef & halal pepperoni on pizza purchased from Restaurant Depot in Alexandria,VA.
All meat packages have Halal stamped on it. I ordered large pepperoni pizza, 12" beef sub., Buffallo wings & lamb biryani. All cooked fresh while I waited 20-30 minutes.
Pizza, wings & sub were good quality & taste. However, Biryani was disappointing as color & taste did not taste or look familiar to me. There as no color & the lamb meat was tiny pieces of cubes not acceptable for a real biryani eater. Located on N.Capitol St.& P Streets between Florida & N.Y. Avenues. Owners & staff are sweet, friendly, polite & accommodating to your taste & choice. Few old tables & chairs are inside the pick-up area if ones care to sit & eat on permises. Nothing for a family night out or bring your better half to. Restrooms are upon request. I did not see any prayers rugs or area to offer daily prayers. Posted on September 15, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Not 100% halal
That is shame. Posted on October 16, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ I refer to their branch in Mount Rainier..This place cannot decide if their menu is halal or not..they have advertised as 'halal' but there's no point in that because they change the meat they want as halal/haram. Basically, you have to call them each time to verify what you can actually eat. Posted on January 16, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ Besides the timely delivery, the food was a disappointment. The wings were dry and no taste and the chicken and steak subs were the same way. Posted on October 23, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Good Pizza, Good wings and subs. They deliver (and trust me, you'll want to take advantage of this service!!). Located in a suspect part of town on North Cap. They have lunch specials. The brother who normally answers the phone is real nice. Posted on October 16, 2010 |

★★★★☆ I've eaten here twice, once right when they opened and once a few months later. The lamb kabob I had the first time wasn't bad and the 2nd time I ordered Pizza and Wings late at night and asked for it to be delivered---3 blocks.
The wings were wonderful and the pizza was decent, but for 20 wings and 1 medium pizza, 28.50 was a lot to pay plus tip to the driver. But its the closest halal place :) Posted on August 12, 2010 |

★★★★★ They've got a "We Serve Halal Food" Logo on their menus! That's not an option in Zabihah.com's halal authenticity but goes a long way for me.
There are a few tables to sit at, but it's primarily a carryout place.
This place also has free delivery for orders $12 and up.
They also do catering. Posted on July 8, 2010 |
