NR not even close to what they are calling the Nahari, or the chicken 65, they just use the spices on the shelf, spread them on the food and give the name. DO not eat here if you care about health, Posted on October 16, 2017 |

★★★★★ If you are looking for hand-slaughtered chicken, this is the place! The family who runs this place is extremely meticulous about where they purchase their meat from and boy is it delicious. For extra value, try their lunch buffet. It is absolutely loaded with delicious meats of all kinds. On my last visit their was Goat Biryani in the buffet. Goat Biryani...in a buffet! There is also a foodcourt outside the restaurant with loads of great food options as well. Posted on October 10, 2014 |

★★★★★ My family loved it here. Very authentic delicious desi food. I would love to visit and eat again. I would definitely recommend everyone to give it a try. We did eat at other places, but this was much preferred over others. The dosa, biryani's, kabab platter, and the butter chicken was the family's favorite. Next time we visit Bosto, I would love to eat here again. Posted on September 4, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ They have highly unclean women's restroom. very unclean. I suggest to the management please keep it clean at least women's restroom . Posted on February 9, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Poor food quality, WAY over priced. The food was cold even after they microwaved it. It was like we paid $12 for cold food from freezer. It was bad service and even the manager their was very rude with another customer who was asking for fresh made food. I would never visit again. Posted on July 10, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Great hyderabadi style indian home made food, their lamb biryani is awesome, plus many other hyderabadi items are very nice. Customer service is very poor and prices on the higher side. The store upstairs sells packaged good from the restaurant downstairs, so you may as well take that stuff to go. Also the store has a Indian style sweet shop with a lot of variety in sweets. ★☆☆☆☆ I never criticize any establishment, but the way we were (10 people) treated at this restaurant, I am compelled to write this review, I hope the owner would learn from this and try to treat customers the way they deserve. I had one of the worst ever experiences at this restaurant. They have 2 sections ~ outside and restaurant sit in. Firstly outside was a total chaos. No one here was ready to take orders and servers were signaling each other to serve each other, but no one was coming to take orders. After this experience we decided to go inside the restaurant. We were seated in a location with no air flow. After complaining we were told that AC is working, later on when children started to cry, we were told the AC is not working. On requesting to put pedestal fans, we were told they don’t have any fans. Our party had to come outside for ventilation. We were not able to even eat together because of this. No one even cared how customers were. It took them over 45 minutes to get our order. Food was of average quality. We ordered multiple dishes but nothing was impressive. We weren’t even asked about if we needed water during this time. The hypocrisy of the waiters was in full swing when we observed that non-colored customers where given full protocol and highest priority. I wanted to complain this and asked for manager or owner. I was told there is no one. Outside, Disappointed our party left this restaurant. The owners need to realize that they need to organize and treat customers equally. Though spending over $250+ in this facility, I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Posted on October 17, 2012 |

★★★★☆ If you eat only halal food then ofcource your choices are limited and thats why I have given it above average rating. They have a limited menu and do not serve any naan or tandoori roti and when asked why...the owner said we want to be different..it was kinda strange answer. Anyways food is good but biryani is nothing like hyderabadi biryani...just run of the mill below average pulav type. The place is neat and clean and service is ok...Overall a good place to eat halal food. Posted on June 22, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Good food but bit pricy. Buffet is expensive as compared to number of items. Nans are not coming from tandoor but from pre made packets that has been warmed. Posted on July 6, 2009 |

★★★★★ They have now moved to new premises at 699 Main Street, Waltham. Large, clean and well maintained seating area. Food can be variable, but on the whole excellent. Posted on February 2, 2009 |

★★★★★ I have been to this place twice in the last week, maybe it was the case that I hadnt had desi food in 2 weeks, but we loved the food. We have tried the kabobs, the chicken biryani, paratha, chicken dishes etc and they taste really good. Maybe a bit spicy for some people, but I absolutely loved the food. Didnt dine in, only had take out.
Parking is scarce, so give yourself time to look for parking. Posted on August 2, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ Food is average fair. Prices high, buffet is not always fresh or appealing. Its local and halal. The place needs to be better managed in terms of cleaniless and speed of service Posted on October 31, 2005 |

★★★★★ Wonderful food! While in Waltham on an official business, I decided to look if there were any Halal restaurants in the town. Having found this on the Zabihah net, I decided to give it a try. I took some American friends too. They all enjoyed food so much that they started recommending this restaurant to everyone they met there. Even here, back in Austin, TX, they mention that they have never had such an excellent food before or after that at a desi restaurant. Posted on August 26, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ As the others said, you'll want to TAKEOUT. The food is a little pricey (and some is oily). Their spices are tasty and different than you find normally with Indian/Pakistan Tandoor. There are much better places in Cambridge/Boston but they were the only one's near our Hotel in Waltham. Very limited parking. Posted on July 3, 2005 |

★★☆☆☆ The food is tasty. And fairly authentic halal.
On the flip side, the service is poor, price is high given the state of the restaurant and portions of the food.
It is better to order from the menu. My favorite is Kalmi Kabab. If you make the mistake of getting the buffet, then plan waiting for the food forever. And even when the food shows up, it is in small quantities.
Some friends have complained about food not fresh. Posted on April 5, 2005 |

★★☆☆☆ I have recently moved to Boston area and found this restaurant to be the only Halal place around. The food is pricey and yet the quality is not amazing. Although, the woman who cooks the food puts in a lot of effort but I only wish that this place can be better managed. I often see non-Asians also come to this place and I don't know what they think of us Indians/Pakistanis who cannot keep the retaurant clean.
Please give your feedback when you visit this place so that they can improve the quality of the food and service. Posted on October 28, 2004 |

★★☆☆☆ Very dirty place, definitely not the place to go to enjoy sitting and eating. Very pricy too. food is like average but their service is really slow. There was one guy taking the orders and going back to help in cooking with other two females. Food looks halal. if u don't have any other choice, then go their and try chicken saffron should never try Nihari. I will not recommend it. Posted on October 13, 2004 |

★★★★★ If you are in the area and missing home cooked meal. This is the place to be. Tawa Paratha with Karahi chicken & Kebab were excellent. Posted on September 15, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ Food is good but very slow, call ahead and order. Quite pricey for desi food...! Chicken 65 was very good as well as the saffron chicken. Posted on June 13, 2004 |

★★★★☆ Kabab and Tandoor is a great place for home style Hyderabadi food. My Hyderabdi freinds were pleasantly surprised to find authentic flavors and treats. The staff is courteous and friendly. The dining area is a bit small and the restaurant seems more focused on take out. But the food is great and tasty and definitely worth trying. Posted on May 17, 2003 |

★★★★☆ "Drove more than an hour to get here. The food has home-cooked taste and the staff is Mom & Pop friendly. The menu is mughlai but cannot be called real Hyderabadi because of the absence of many dishes which would be served in any Hyderabadi home (ask one!). STill, it's a good buy. Small place." ★★★★★ New restaurant - Hyderabadi cuisine - the lunch buffet was fresh - the flavor was excellent - Very satisfied! Posted on April 16, 2003 |

★★★★★ Food was very delicious and service was very humble. Good place to eat Pakistani/Indian food. Posted on March 14, 2003 |

|
★★★★☆ New place, mostly have takeout. Typical Hyderabadi fare. Spinach with panir is exceptionally good. Zabiha all the way. The kebaabs are mild but the nans are out of this world. Posted on February 27, 2003 |
