NR The owner said the lamb is from Australia and stamped halal Muslim slaughtered the scholars who check australian slaughter houses say all halal meat is hand slaughtered according to sharia. Their chicken is from resturant depot also stamped halal... Although his beef he would not verify where he got it from and it was not mark halal but he said it was halal... And in the beginning of the call he didn't think there was a difference from meat slaughter by a Muslim, Jew or Christian :0 ??? Hmmm... Based on the Quran if you eat meat slaughter with any name besides Allah mentioned you have committed kufr... So yes I think there's a difference.. Posted on August 29, 2012 |

★★★★★ What a great finding on our way to Las Vegas! An healthy place to stop at and get some food without spending more than $10-15 per person! This is the place you want to save on your list if you like Middle-Eastern / Mediterranean food.
Atmosphere 4 / 5: The place looks like a Deli / Cantina but you're in Victorville at the same time. So don't expect to find an upscale restaurant in the neighborhood! :-D Nevertheless, the place is pretty clean and you feel welcome to eat there.
Food 5 / 5: I tried the Falafel sandwich and had the Hummus & Meat as appetizer. I also tried some Baba Ghannooj. It feels great to have someone who's preparing FRESH hummus and this tells a lot about the quality of the restaurant. Hands down to one of the best Hummus I ever had and the Falafel were delicious.
Service 5 / 5: Joe and Susan did a great job to take care of us. I will be definitely stop every time I'm on the road of LA and Las Vegas. Posted on August 5, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Salam! Very good food. The kufta, falafel, shawarma, hummus and tabbouleh are all very good. I order them all the time. However, the food is only good when Jihad (the owner) cooks. The only halal restaurant in the high desert! Posted on June 13, 2008 |
