★★★★☆ Good Afghan food. Specially enjoyed mintos. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Posted on August 12, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ Restaurant itself is nice, but the food and the service was not very nice. Ordered the manu and it had very little meat in it. Asked about Meat source and he just told me that it is halal and I should trust him. Allah knows best Posted on May 25, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Assalamulaikum,
I have been twice to this restaurant. The first time I left right away because there was in fact an alcoholic bar present. When a friend of mine told me that they no longer have a bar I went to try the food.
The interior of the restaurant is great. The food is average and a little pricey. Tip is expected. We had the mantu and the Chopan kabob which was lambshops.
The owner took our order and the waiting time was about 25 minutes. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Posted on September 21, 2011 |

★★★★★ Went there a couple weeks ago and it's a nice little family run restaurant with a very nice atmosphere with leather chairs and booth seating and soothing music. It was very clean too.
Food took a little longer than I would have liked, but it tasted fresh so I can't complain.
The menu is limited but what I had tasted good, and i'd rather have food quality over food selection.
As for the claims about alcohol, I have no idea what people are talking about. Sickening to see brothers (or sisters) put down a perfectly credible halal place. Posted on September 15, 2011 |

★★★★★ I have been a regular customer from day one and they have NO alcohol bar so I am not sure where people are getting their facts. Food and service is top notch compared to all the other afghan restaurants. Their food is freshly made and delicious. Their prices are pretty cheap.
Was there this past weekend and they were super busy I am glad their business has been getting better, they have definitely worked hard to get where they are. Even though they were busy they made sure to have the best customer service for not only my family but all. I am a loyal and regular customer and 100% recommend this place to everyone. ★★★☆☆ I agree with Brother Afzal. The service was a little slow. It seems like a family business. The food is average, but you can see they are trying. I probably will not return. Posted on March 20, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ I'll be nice because it's completely family run. The food was just ok and people were nice, but the service was incredibly slow and disorganized. They need outside help. I would not go back. And it's definitely not on Bamiyan's level. Posted on March 12, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Great little family run place. The food was delicious and was made fresh. We went as a group of about 15 and all the dishes were good. I would recommend to try the lamb chops and salmon filet. The service however was a bit slow and could be improved, I had to end up serving the drinks/cutlery while the one server at the place served the food. Better than Bamiyan in my opinion. ★★★★★ I wish I had known about this restaurant earlier because their food is delicious. they really put effort into making it different from other afghan restaurants with their quality and presentaiton of food. I actually never enjoyed qabali rice until this place and will be coming here as much as i can. their kabobs are fresh and tasty, my fave is the chopan and koobideh kabob. their boulani is nice and fresh and mantoo is the best mantoo i have ever eaten. amazing. ★★★★★ I have been to this Afghan restaurant many times and they have consistently served excellent food. Not only is it greatly priced considering it is a real restaurant and not a fast food compared to other afghan restaurants but the portions are very filling. Excellent interior design and clean atmosphere. The best part is that they have a seperate kids menu that combines things like fries for the kids that are not used to afghan cuisine. I have also placed many caterings with Nowshak and they did one of the best jobs ever. For new customers who have never eaten here before I would recommend the Mantoo, boulanee, and any kabob with qabali rice because those are the most authentic and best foods. I am very proud of the owners as they strive in serving the best quality food for not only Afghans but the Muslim AND non-muslim community! Posted on July 11, 2010 |

★★★★★ My family and I have been to this place for dine in and take out. Great healthy authentic Afghan cuisine. The portions are plentiful and reasonably priced. The Choppan kabob is juicy and good to the last morsel. The Dough yougurt dring is as authentic as you can get. The kids menu is very generous. I highly recommend this place for a great food experience and wonderful atmosphere. Posted on June 10, 2010 |
