★★★★★ Very clean, this is something you rarely see for a halal restaurant.
The food was fresh and tasty. The chops were tender and the portions were a good size. This place is better than Bamiyan by far. Posted on April 30, 2015 |

★★★★★ The best afghan food I've had in Toronto. My tandoori chicken was a little cold do I sent it back to be warmed up. They not only brought it back nice and hot but also threw in a few drinks and desert. Now that's good customer service. The food was just delicious and perfectly marinated and grilled. Will be back for sure. Posted on May 3, 2014 |

★★★★★ Hand down my favourite afghan place in GTA. I've been Bamiyaan many many times and I prefer this place for a few reasons:
1) The food is always hot and fresh. At Bamiyaan I get cold-warm meals more than I should
2) Whole Wheat naan is very tasty (and much healthier) than bamiyaan's naan.
3) Garlic Sauce is very nice
4) Meat is very juicy
The only place they lack is in their salad, which is quite weak. Overall, the meat is outstanding. Posted on January 26, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Was so confusing getting there. The food was good but I believe it is small portion with respect to the price. I believe this should be rated $$ instead of $ Posted on December 16, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Not authentic fairly westernized. Nice for fast food, great service. Kabobs were okay. Prices were reasonable as portions were big. Posted on December 9, 2012 |

★★★★★ I think this place kills Bamyian any day. Kebobs are the best with that white sauce Posted on June 6, 2012 |

★★★★★ I have been eating at this place for over a year now and they have never dissappointed me with the food or the services. I found the food tastes fresher than Bamiyans. Plus you don't have to deal with the zoo like feeling everytime you walk in on a weekend! Posted on January 30, 2012 |

★★★★★ What amazing food ... Loved it !
We ordered two platters, one with Chicken kabab and the other seikh kabab. The serving was enough for both me and my wife along with two small kids ...
The food was very tasteful and this restaurant is highly recommended for anyone visiting GTA.
Keep it up guys! Posted on July 12, 2011 |

★★★★★ I don't know where to start. I would say this restaurant is one of the best Afghani restaurants I have ever been to. I would say they are better than Pamier and Bamiyan. The location is convenient for me because whenever I visit Vaughan Mills Mall it is right next to it. Their Chaplie aroma reminds me of the street vendors in Peshawar and then Naan will melt in your mouth. To top it up it is whole wheat. The service is quick and the staff is very kind. It appears that they have been featured in several television shows and the toronto star, which is no surprise. Definitely order as a side their Bolanee or Qorma. The other afghani stores seem to microwave it whereas here they cook it right in front of you. 5stars. Posted on March 18, 2011 |

★★★★★ I agree with all the reviews except the previous one. Their quality is exceptional. Their suppliers are HMA certified (Halal Monitoring Authority) and I came across them when I attended Muslim Day at Canada's Wonderland. I think they were one of the sponsors and were handing out samples and flyers. Their 10% coupon and the ridiculous prices at wonderland lured me into this restaurant. It's a fairly large restaurant. They have half a dozen of choices for Kabobs that come with flavored extra long grain basmati rice, salad and naan. They have the traditional Afghan Lassi which is salty which I also liked. Also, if you get a chance try their Bolanee, seems to be very popular. One little secret. They do accomodate prayers if you like in their office if you ask nicely. Restaurant and washrooms are clean. Only negative encounter I had was the seating arrangements, but that is more of a personal preference. Otherwise, two thumbs up and will definitely be back again. Posted on July 26, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ The good thing with kabob express is that they serve the food really quick in about 10-15 minutes. However, their quality is not that great. Many of my friends and family have also agreed to this. Also, on their menu they say that they sell boulani but they have always told not only me but many of my friends and family that they "run" out. Makes me think that maybe they don't ever have it prepared. I like their bread tho its nice and fresh Posted on July 19, 2010 |

★★★★★ Great place. A must try at least once. Service is amazing. Evveeything on the menu is great. If can't decide get the barg kebab. Boulagnee is mmm I'll be back. So good. Try this new dessert. It's kheer but afghani style. Posted on May 23, 2010 |

★★★★★ Finally an alternative. Their Sultani Kabob is my favourite. It consists of a skewer of Tikka and one skewer of Shamie kabob. The Shamie is so juicy. I used to go to a similar afghani restaurant in mississauga, but I actually prefer this restaurant. Their service is awesome and prices are acceptable. They also offer the option to upgrade the regular rice to Qabilee rice with the carotts, pisstaccios and raisins for a small charge. Definitely worth it. Posted on November 29, 2009 |

★★★★☆ Agreed with all the reviews and in comparison to the benchmark i.e. Bamiyon Kabob, they are very slightly underrated than Bamiyon. (you can feel it in the Shami and the rice). But they out-class bamiyon in customer service - very very pleasant brother, immediately opening up the office for prayers. (if you have a big group please dont bug them they dont have a proper prayer place, they just open up the office where 1 person can pray) the other thing they outclass bamiyon is their Dough the yogurt drink bigger and tastier than BK, overall very very good, a place to go again, clean pleasant and affordable - their rates are industry rates. ★★★★★ Great food at a great price. Food took less than 10 minutes. It is at a very convenient location and very easily accessible. Will definitely come back. Too bad they don't offer delivery. Posted on October 24, 2009 |

★★★★★ YUM! the food is sooooo good! I'm so excited that Vaughan is FINALLY getting some halal choices! Try the Vaziri and and Bolongee( kind of like an aloo ka paratha for my pakistani friends) enjoy! Posted on October 20, 2009 |

★★★★★ Excellent Food in a great family environment. I was there on a Saturday and even though it was busy they managed to serve the food very quick. They also accomodate prayers. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants quality food at a reasonble price. Try the Shamie and Tikka with their Mango Shake. Posted on October 6, 2009 |

★★★★★ I actually just moved from Vaughan and accidently came across this restaurant across from Vaughan Mills and picked up a flyer. I called the restaurant the following day to confirm who their Meat suppliers were and verified those with the list on the website of the Halal Monitoring Authority. That being said they are definitely Halal. The food is amazing and I would normally pay $20/person on a similar dish at other restaurants. Their dishes range from $8.50 to $11.49. The kabobs, the naan and especially the Bolanee taste amazing and you know it is fresh. The restaurant and washrooms are clean. The wall stones are very impressive. The service is great as well. Overall 10/10. I truly have nothing bad to say. Posted on September 28, 2009 |

★★★★★ On my way to Vaughan Mills Mall I noticed this establishment right across from the mall. When I entered the restaurant I was welcomed by a friendly staff. The store is extremely clean and the stone work is spectacular, which I haven't seen in any Halal restaurant in the GTA so far. When I ordered the food it was served quick. The Vaziri was immaculate and included a skewer of Chicken Breast Kabob which had a yellowish colour and their delicious Shamie Kabob. My wife had the Tandoori Chicken and she loved it as well. As the side order we ordered Bolanee with a white sauce. Again incredible. There is plenty of space and the washrooms are completely clean. The only thing I didnt like was the yellow everywhere but that again is personal preference. Posted on September 1, 2009 |
