★★★★☆ Indeed, this is the unicorn, a (partial) halal Italian restaurant serving Americanized Italian food. All the meat is halal except the veal according to the staff. Given that this is an Italian restaurant, it's unclear if the cheeses are halal. I believe the restaurant is BYOB, so demerits for that. The parking lot is spacious, so go ahead and bring the 2001 Jaguar XJ-R. Garlic knots are served gratis and are dough, carbohydrate-y, and only slightly garlicky. This author tried the crispy garlic bread with mozzarella ($3), probably not the highlight of the meal, especially at this rarity of a restaurant. The Chicken Francese ($15) are two tender (pounded down to thinness) chicken breasts, lightly breaded in a lemon-y gravy.... overall very good. The restaurant also serves pasta and pizza and the menu is worth exploring further. Be sure to make a run to Bear Mountain and the treacherous Storm King Highway on your motorcycle while you're in the neighborhood. Posted on July 30, 2016

★★★★★ Came to know about this from this web site and wanted to give it try.Well maintained & cozy place. Pleasant as well as professional staff. According to staff only Chicken & Lamb is Halal, Veal is not halal. Verbal confirmation by staff. I ordered large Chicken pizza for take away, they give garlic knots with order, which were pretty tasty and bit spicy too. Thinking to visit again some time along with friends. ★★★★☆ Excellent choices for Halal Italian food. Large space and great to take friends and family. Good family restaurant excellent staff. Staff - Nice and Fast service very attentatitve. Food - Food proportions are awesome. I could not eat it all. Appetizers are delicious and I loved the calamari. I ordered the Chicken Parm. Other people liked the Seafood Salmon which had shrimp etc. Lasanga was top shelf. Drinks were wanting - its basically cannot soda / water. Environment - awesome space and parking. comfortable and spacious. Lighting was pretty good - I noticed they had a party rental space on top.
