★★★☆☆ Food is great, definitely very flavorful and authentic. However I have yet to have a good experience because of the service. Which I have found to be no so welcoming. Even when I wanted to place an order over the phone the owner seemed very disappointed that the order was only for two people and refused to take it over the phone. Posted on December 29, 2014 |

★★★★★ What an awesome place to be with friends and family. I have found this by accident as we were given an address of one restaurant that we didn't find. We saw the sign and stopped just to look at the menu. We were all glad we did. The owner Zulfikar and chef Zahid, down to earth people and boy do they have taste in their hands. Pure desi style cooking from punjab. The mix of spices in Goat Qeema was just amazing. Since then, all my 7 friends go there at least once a month. Its our Friday night date. ★★★★☆ Goat biryani ($12) was good but very heavy. I suspect they reheated old food and added spices to make it taste good. Regardless it was acceptable. The seating is for about 8 people with another room in the back for about 25 people. Posted on August 21, 2014 |

★★★★★ Their Goat biryani is one of the best options available. Their goat karhai is also delicious. My Moroccan and Chinese colleagues were quite impressed by the quality of the mutton. I also renjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala. The taste is very authentic and Lahori. The main cons are that service may be really slow depending upon number of customers and the location seems less safe to visit during night time. Posted on April 21, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ During our visit to Philadelphia we tried this place based on the old reviews found on Zabiha.... but found the food to be just was average. Also the neighbourhood isn't that great. Posted on April 8, 2014 |

★★★★★ Best naan and chicken karahi.would go there again if I ash in town Posted on December 7, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Both, the kabob roll and the mango lassi that I had for dinner was good. This is one of very few restaurants where they do not expect a tip when you order take-out. Posted on September 20, 2013 |

★★★★★ The MOST authentic desi food (Lahori/Punjabi style) you will find in Philly, NJ, & DE. We go there quite often for weekend brunches with few friends.
The owner is a master with tandoori and masala dishes. The BEST lamb chops around, very lean, juicy, and just the right amount of spices. Chicken qeema naan and chicken tikka masla are also our favorites. We also lover the goat biryani.
Very authentic comfort food such as dahi bhalla chat, samosas, and pakoras are all fantastic.
The neighborhood is definitely ghetto and the place is a true dive. However, it makes that up in taste, service, and quality. Always top notch.
Call ahead for large parties as space is very limited. Also call ahead to order lamb chops, charga, qeema naan, and Lahori fried fish.
Since we usually order 3-4 courses family style, price is around $15 pp which is pretty reasonable for all that food.
BTW, we never order from the stuff that's precooked behind the counter.
And best of all we NEVER have to go Kabobeesh again - yuck! Posted on November 20, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Not as great! one or two dishes are better like the chicken platter, but not supremely great...a good meal, and that's it! Posted on December 10, 2011 |

★★★★★ I heard about this place number of times so went with my wife. Food is typically Pakistani/Lahore taste. It was fresh and they prepared when we ordered and did not wait long. Chicken karahi was best. I like chicken tikka too but my wife was only OK with tikka. Naan were also fresh but not on crispy side. Over all food was excellent. Few thing that food is little costly and not as place to sit and enjoy. I did not ask but sure that everything is halal as menu stated and you can feel it. Posted on June 28, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Chicken tikka masala, beef kabob and chicken karahi are all above average. The naans could have been a little softer. You don't come here for excellent service; just good solid tasting Indo/Pak food. This is on my top ten in Philly. I recommend. Posted on February 5, 2011 |

NR Tasty! A bit of a trek for me, but it's worth it for great zabihah food (I asked the cashier and he confirmed it).
I was pleasantly surprised by the moist beef curry. A friend of mine thought the chicken curry was also better than Tiffin's. Posted on December 22, 2010 |

★★★★★ Ordered take-out from here. Not the safest neighorhood but the food was very good. Naans were fresh and chicken boti/chicken (tikka) masala were great. Owners were also very nice/helpful. Will definitely go back. Posted on July 29, 2010 |
