HALAL SUMMARY
This restaurant has been reported to be halal by our readers but is still unverified.
★★★★☆ The waitress confirmed that only the chicken is halal. I ordered the butter chicken & chicken briyani for my party of 3. The briyani was rather salty, but it was good. Comes in a big portion, so I asked the waitress to bag half of it which I had later for dinner at my hotel. Overall, the food was fine, and most importantly, HALAL. Posted on September 9, 2012
★★★☆☆ Expats in Ulaanbaatar claim Hazara is the best Indian restaurant so I gave them a try. I couldn't go there so I asked them to deliver to my hotel (for which they charged MT 2000 ~ $2). The owner said that all chicken items are halal but beef/lamb/goat aren't. One of their popular dish is the chicken tandoor but it is marinated in rum so check before ordering. I had chicken boti and veg biriyani and both tasted just average. Posted on August 28, 2011
