★☆☆☆☆ I went with my friends at their Magnolia location last week and ordered biryani, chicken karhai, nihari, gola kabob, here is my review for each item
Biryani - Cold, bland and tasteless
Nihari - The meat was like rubber, we sent it back because it was inedible
Gola Kabob - Decent
Karahi - Small portion and nothing special
We asked for tea and it took 30 minutes for them to serve it to us and they did not filter the loose tea.
Please at all cost avoid this place (Magnolia Location). Posted on March 22, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Mix reviews about this place. I ordered a few things off their menu and they all seem to be pretty good. I often get their rolls with parathas. The location is not the most appealing, which may shape peoples perceptions. Posted on April 16, 2014 |

★★★★☆ We love their Gola Kabob and Paratha. Remind me Kabob/Paratha of Bundu Khan in Karachi. Always go to their stall at Pakistan Day. Friendly staff. Place is not too clean. If you do not like the place, you can take out. Posted on October 10, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Horrible Service and Unsanitary conditions. However, food was very tasty. I would only do carry out. Posted on September 22, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Huge improvement from even 2 months yback. An year ago, U would say to steer clear of this place, but as of two months ago I would say its a definite worthwhile trip if you like Karachi style karahi chicken and a spicy version if the british-concocted chicken tikka masala.
Their unique dishes, which I would refer to as their signature dishes, would be:
1. the the clay oven bbq'd Seekh Gola kabob (minced beef in a crunchy shell which could almost be mistaken for a deliciously fried meatball).
2. The Malai Chicken spicy clay oven baked boneless chicken breast pieces. Make sure you tell him to NOT make it well done, if you want it to melt in your mouth.
The place is much cleaner than before and has a lot of room for improvement in both decor and usage of space.
This place is now becoming a quick lunch place for a lot of local corporations.
I can see myself giving this place a 4 rating over the next six months as they continue their planned improvements and their already great customer service. Posted on June 21, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ Stopped by recently to try them out again as I had not been back for a couple of years.. Figured that the first few times I went by it was pretty dirty so a recently announced remodel perked my interest again. Sorry to so that it turned out to be a waste of time as the health dept had shut them down for violations. They are reopened again but I'll stick to my original assumption and pass on them again. ★★☆☆☆ Went there on Saturday afternoon. Will not go again!
The tables were dirty , the baskets for naan were way too dirty and worn out . The Kadhai chicken was served in dirty plates. The gol kabobs were burnt on one side and raw on the other. The beef biryani was way too spicy and no salad / rayta / lettuce served with it! The paratha was actually a bhatura. And what more - When we had asked for ice water we got bad tasting warm water served at the counter ( and not at table). I had to go outside and buy aquafina from the mini mart.
However the guy who worked there was probably in good spirits ! he was saying hi to my son - said Salaam before taking the order and also asked us if the food tasted good when I was leaving. So I would just pray for them to improve their standards. Posted on July 17, 2011 |

★★★★★ The place is totally remodeled and now it has a family dining environment. Food was excellent, we tried Nihari and Kabob. The Kabobs were soft and Juicy, Nehari was 'JUST PERFECT' and the Naan were great too. Looking forward to visit them again. Owner, Ejaz Jilani was attending every customer personally. ★★★★☆ We like their chikken Tikka. Seekh kabab were ok. We also ate at their stall at Pakistan Day Mela. We really liked their gola kabab. Posted on August 20, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ The food was average; Building, parking, service & cleanliness were less than I expected. The food prices were too high for a Pakistani Food. Posted on January 8, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ Is it just Sunday or everyday, I amnot sure. The price is way too high for the portion. I paid $30 for the following: 5 pcs or less of mix tandori, chana masala, a plate of plane rice and ONE parata. we waited 30 minutes and expecting the tandory to be hot but it's only warm..and the service is pretty bad, nobody fill up our drinks..and most of all the location is quite ghetto, don't go there after 8 pm! ★★★★★ perfect example of "don't judge a book by its cover", but then again, most of us desi food fans know that lesson all too well :)
their food is AMAZING! best karahi i've had outside of chicago and their paratha is SO crispy and soft at the same time, wow... you MUST try this place. the only bad thing i've heard is that it's inconsistent, bc it depends on the cook. Posted on July 16, 2009 |

★★★★★ When come to food, my wife is the best judge. We were introduced to Karachi Tandoori by a friend. Food was fresh and full of taste. We had enjoyed Chicken Tika, Chicken Karahi, Gola Kabob (Round Seekh Kabob), Haleem and boneless Tandoori chicken. Rass Malai for a sweet and end with tea. It was certainly one of the best meals. We plan going there again to try some of their other dishes Posted on March 21, 2009 |

★★★★★ This restaurant has wonderful Tandoori.
The Tandoori Chickent and Gola Kabaab remind you really of Karachi. If you love Grilled food, you will love this place. It also has Great Karai! This place has the best tandoori from anywhere I have been! Posted on October 25, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ Tried going to this place for Iftaar/Dinner. The place was closed with the "Open" sign on. Also called them several times from outside the restaurant but no one picked up the phone and a lady from inside would not open the door. Called them again and spoke to someone who rest assured that the place was open, when it really wasn't. I didn't get to open my fast on time thanks to Karachi Tandoori so we nded up going to Al-Watan since it was in close proximity and it certainly made up for the bad experience we had at Karachi Tandoori.
