★★★★☆ Went there last week, very good food, huge portions and relaxed atmosphere. It is a run down place, but if you are going for a quick lunch, it is amazing, however not classy or anything else like that. Food is great! Posted on April 16, 2009 |

★★★★☆ a really nice bang for your buck! we love the portion sizes and quality of the food, especially the chicken and rice plate. consistently good food since we've been going there for over a year. make sure you have cash though, last few times we went, they did not accept debit or credit. ★★★★☆ This place has pretty good food. We had the chicken steak platter which comes with rice, broasted chicken breast, potatoes, and raisins (which you can get on the side). There are no menus, but when you come in, they give you soup, which is similar to an "Idli" (south indian style soup). Soup was a little salty, but still good. The chicken was very good. Also had mango juice. The place has an internet cafe connected to it, and the restaurant is not in the best area, but the food is good and cheap. Definitely worth checking out, when you want to try something different. Posted on December 26, 2007 |

★★★★★ Once you get over the cheesy decoration especially the murals of a lions and other weird African animals you realize you are in the best restaurant in town. You can get beef, chicken, or lamp stew, with spicy rice sprinkled with raisins for just 7 dollars. Moreover, you get mango juice and a banana to top it of. Posted on December 17, 2004 |

★★★★★ The brother behind the counter is Bangladeshi but the food is Somali. Strange eh? But there is nothing strange about the food - fresh, delicious and in huge portions, like most Somali restaurants. Usual Somali menu - rice, pasta, goat, suqqaar (beef stew), chicken steak etc. The building is old and in a run down area of the city, so don't expect to be dining at the Ritz. But everything tastes great and the prices are excellent value. There used to be a separate room for sisters and families, but I don't think this exists any more because of lack of space. About two blocks away from Bond Street Masjid. Posted on February 26, 2004 |

★★★★★ This place serves some of the same food as Wagad, but I find Bilan to be much better. The meat is so tasty and it goes really well with spaghetti or rice. Posted on March 14, 2002 |
