The menus at this restaurant clearly state that Halal food is served. Per February 2011 e-mail from owner, restaurant gets meat from Madinah Poultry or Iqbal Foods, both of whom are halal suppliers of meat.

We are looking into it, but we cannot find any evidence that this place has closed |

★★★★★ Clearly a taste of Thailand. I love the detail they put in each order. I will most certainly recommend it. Nice to see Halal ethnic cuisines making a name for themselves !!! Posted on August 28, 2011 |

★★★★★ We recently moved to North York and came across Koko's Thai Cuisine. We really enjoyed the mango salad. We also tried the Pad thai and the spicy thai noodles, which were both quite good. They have a large variety of items which we hope to try in the future. This is a Muslim owned family business and they really take care of customers very well. We definately recommend this restaurant. Posted on June 30, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ Went there once, and had a decent experience with good food. Service was slow but food was worth tge wait. Went back on a Saturday night and found the place closed. Went back again for lunch following weekend found the lights On and open sign there but the place was locked ! So we waited and left after few minutes. Looks like they are very short staffed , and have no set timings. Not serious about their business. The sign on the door means nothing, they open and close as they please. I would probably not go back there, but if they actually open when they say they are open then the food is good enough for the trip. 2 stars. Posted on May 30, 2011 |

★★★★★ My wife and I visited the restaurant today and found the food to be simply awesome. The service was very good as well. It is a small and cosy restaurant with nice seating facilities. It takes a little time to get the food once ordered, but the wait is definitely worth it.
We had the chicken tom yum soup, chicken spicy thai noodles and beef lemon grass. All of them were excellent and the noodles were particularly extra tasty. Posted on May 27, 2011 |

★★★★★ ASAK,
My wife and I tried Koko's a few weeks back. We both love Thai food and to find a good halal Thai restaurant in Toronto minutes from our home was joyful. The food is all freshly prepared and absolutely amazing. I had the chicken pad thai, mango salad and soup. All were the best I've ever had. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit. Please note this restaurant is in Toronto on Eglinton near Dufferin and not in Peel.
