★★★★☆ My first time at a Somali restaurant and it will not be my last Insha Allah. I had the Suhaaq chicken which was tasty and well prepared. The portions are big and the service is friendly. I tried the mango shake as a 'desert' after my dinner and that was good too. Posted on June 18, 2014 |

★★★★★ Very clean, spacious and bright. There are three or four masjids in the area. As with most Somali restaurants in Toronto, the food is delicious and the portions are generous, but the selection of dishes is wider. They have a number of appetizers and desserts that you can't find in other Somali establishments. They have several different Somali-style pastas, whereas you can only get spaghetti in most Somali restaurants. Separate area for sisters and families, but it is only separated by a small screen, so niqaabi sisters have to be careful. However, the waiters are very respectful of niqaabi women - they hand the food to the husbands and are cautious when entering the sisters' area. Definitely a level above other Somali restaurants. ★★★★★ Bismillah. This is an excellent place to eat. I've been to another Somali restaurant in the area and this one beats it hands down. I've tried the chicken cutlet, the beef steak, and I think the chicken steak meals and each comes with salad and your choice of spaghetti or rice. The helpings are very generous and even though I eat well I had to get a doggy bag for my leftovers. Their mango milkshake is very creamy (very sweet) as it has a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. To top everything off you can try one of their coconut bars (don't know what they're called exactly). Overall this is a great place to eat. Posted on October 11, 2003 |

★★★★☆ Unique, unforgettable and delicious experience. Hearty and surprising dishes. Excellent Somali and Middle Eastern foods, good service, enjoyable environment, separate section for families, and good parking space. Also well renowned for its Halwa and other Somali sweets. Catering service also available. Posted on January 18, 2001 |
