★☆☆☆☆ I'm shocked that this place is even on this site. There is nothing Halal about this restaurant. If you want Haram Chinese food with some alcohol on the side, go ahead and eat here. Deceitful owners who use their "Chinese Muslim Heritage" for business. Posted on July 3, 2013 |

NR Warning brother and sisters.
Alcohol served, cannot be trusted.
Their staff is well trained in answering questions about islamic zabiha-Thats it. They are advertising Islamic Food Culture. This should not be confused with actual halal food.
Also, may Allah give the brother the courage to serve completely halal food and have halal service as well and not give in to the non-muslim chinese customers he tries to impress so much. As a Muslim chinese, (convert)I inquired and ordered here twice and got treated with cold shoulder the second time when non-muslim chinese were around. I took the hint that I was in the way or an embarassment. One day, the waitress (who had claimed to be Muslim), changed from her work clothes and made sure she pranced around my muslim husband and family in her ourdoors skantly dress. Come on, even non-muslims wouldn't be so "in your face". In fact, I would believe non muslims to have more care for Muslims than muslims nowadays.
Understand that in China, due to the revolution. Islam for sume became a culture and diluted mch of the belief. The next generation of Muslims look at practicing Islam as an older generational concept. I believe when somebody tells me they are muslim. But can't shake the feeling I get when they waver. Thus, can't eat here. Posted on August 25, 2011 |

★★★★☆ This restaurant was the previously known Chinese Beef & Lamb House. I ordered some take out from this place. Very clean place, very friendly staff, even offered fresh cherries and green tea while the order was being prepared. Ordered the beef pancakes, chilli beef, sweet & sour chicken, fried rice and those beef handmade noodles. Everything was delicious, the only dish I didnt like was their specialty dish handmade noodles. I did'nt like its texture, i found it to be very floury, chewy. the cost was quite affordable. Will definitely visit soon to dine-in. Posted on August 6, 2011 |
