★★★★★ This is definitely an authentic Chinese restaurant. We ate here while visiting from Columbus, Oh. We ordered 3 rice dishes, a noodle dish, chicken wings, and beef dumplings. Each dish was tasty. This was our first time eating dumplings but they were really good. We got the fried version. If you're looking for a menu change and some exotic type food I recommend giving them a visit. Posted on May 23, 2016 |

★★★★☆ Quite different from run of the mill hakka chinese restaurants. Specially recommend there lamb skewers. Posted on January 14, 2016 |

★★☆☆☆ one of the few "authentic" chinese restaurants, however, they serve all parts of the lamb (which predominantly is imported from australia/new zealand - need to verify with owners).
the good - lamb dumplings, lamb tablets, lamb skewers
the bad - fried chicken rice (very very very oily), noodles
they do NOT accept credit cards, adds tip automatically when you are 4 ppl or more (even though service is NOT there - you have to make eye contact and waive at them to even get noticed), servers barely know what's on the menu.
i would probably go this restaurant once a year at the most. Posted on December 30, 2015 |

★★★★★ While the menu is very intimidating, a little adventurous ordering has made this one of our family's favourite restaurants in the city. The food is delicious, consistent and unique. The food is always fresh and flavourful and there are some excellent dishes that even picky eaters can't turn down.
The service would be average except for the owner, who despite speaking almost no English goes out of his way to greet you and give a smile anytime he walks by. He even sent over a dish he was about to eat, on the house.
Our favourites are the beef skewers which come sizzling and coated in a sea of cumin; the handmade noodles which have the perfect texture; the lamb chops grilled to order, and the dumplings which are out of this world.
We've been back many times and continue to take friends here to share this little known gem. Truly an asset to halal cuisine in the GTA. Posted on July 11, 2014 |

★★★★★ This halal Chinese restaurant (in case anyone was confused) serves a vast menu of authentic Chinese food. The restaurant is tucked in the back of an Asian strip mall. There is a parking lot, but it can get full at peak times, in which case look for the usually available street parking on Ravel Road. Noting the *ahem* Asian drivers, you should leave the Autozam AZ-1 Mazdaspeed at home.
This reviewer has been to this restaurant three times and has found the food to be consistently very excellent. Note the food is authentic, so don't be expecting your standard McChinese fare or flavors and go demanding chop suey. Many of the flavors might be a bit new to those used to pseudoChinese, order thoughtfully.
The hot & sour and chicken corn soups have been excellent, be sure to try them with the accoutrements that come with. This reviewer recommends (among others): the beef soup, lamb wontons, and kung pao chicken.
This fine establishment graciously accepts this reviewer's powerful American dollar. A solid 5-stars for excellent food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Posted on March 13, 2014 |

★★★★★ My family and I love this restaurant. We have been to all the branches including the original one which closed down. Service is good and the owner/chef, Haji Mohammad Ali, comes to check in on you! Posted on October 21, 2011 |

★★★★★ Have been here three times and still haven't begun to go through the hugh number of dishes they offer. Food here is fabulous! I recommend the spicy lamb skewers, spicy-mini lamb chops and the sweet and sour soup to start with - from there its really up to you as there are so many dishes to choose from. The prices are very reasonable. warning -once you go you'll be back for more. Reservations are recommeded for saturday evenings as it gets really busy. Enjoy this hidden gem Posted on March 6, 2011 |
