★★★★★ great place to find some very traditional Indian street foods. Gives you a taste of "back home" cooking. Tried the rice with daal (very good), the shami kebabs (just OK), the tandoori wings (very good), the beef keema puff (pretty good) and the Qubani ka meetha (very good). The chai was also very good as well. The portions are a little on the small side, but I guess they are supposed to be like that since it's "street food". I enjoyed looking at the old pictures of the owner's family on the walls. Very nicely decorated interiors. I would come again if i'm ever in the area. Highly recommended. Posted on September 15, 2017
★★★★★ located in stunning downtown. there is street parallel parking right outside the restaurant with pay meters. lovely interior with a homage to the irani cafes of bombay. food was delicious and served quickly. had the salli chicken bowl with mixed veggies and veggie platter with fries. portions look small at first but they are very filling. the flavours were great, very clean, not too spicy with a subtle heat that is enjoyable. free complimentary water and self serve metal cups just like in india. finished it off with qubani ka meetha which is basically cooked down apricots with custard and almonds. again it looks small but does the job. everyone that worked there were so kind and helpful. would go back again and again!
