HALAL SUMMARY
A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises of this restaurant.
★★★★☆ Nice little cozy place downtown, walking distance from masjid. It's very clean and more of a take-out place than a dine-in restaurant since there's just one table. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate over rice. The rice was cooked well and highly spiced which I enjoyed. I detected a hint of cinnamon in it. The chicken was flavourful and cut into huge chunks, but it may have been just a tad dry. It comes with tahini sauce added standard and optional hot sauce. The plate also came with some pickles, a full pita bread, and garlic sauce. I didn't order ahead since I didn't know what they served, so it took about 10 minutes to prepare. I didn't mind since there are quite a few Pokestops nearby. The prices are also very reasonable. Posted on August 26, 2016
