★★★★★ Moved here from Chicago last year and was very happy to find this place while our short stay in The Woodlands. Never dined in (harder to eat out with my little one) but ordered to go several times and the food was always hot, fresh and tasted delicious. Also met the owner on occasion - always nice and welcoming. Posted on August 26, 2019 |

★★★★★ Nice environment, accent, great tasting food. Friendly and respectful service. Try their combo platter, that's my favorite. I typically do not like Mediterranean food, but I would go there any day without hesitation. Posted on October 3, 2018 |

★★★★☆ Nice, solid, delicious, food. We had the beef kabab, chicken kabab, and a few appetizers. The food was very tasty, and the service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and has a separate prayer area. Maryam and Asim, our servers, were great. I would return if back in Houston. I recommend. Posted on August 20, 2018 |

★★★★★ A great restaurant is not only about quality food and friendly, knowledgeable service, but also about how they handle and recover from mistakes. Some of their servers recently went back to college, so the gentleman on the floor tonight was brand new. There were also a couple new people in the kitchen as well. Every restaurant has 'one of those nights' where things aren't quite moving efficiently and people have to wait a little bit.
I was waiting a while for the server to come back with an answer to a drink question I had asked him. I considered walking out when Mohammad, the owner came over and asked if he could help. I was debating between two different drinks they had, an Apple Malt and a Cream Soda and asked what was in them. He answered my question and then said that since I'd been waiting longer than I should have, he would bring both of them for me for free. Wow, I was very impressed!
I waited a while longer and the server still had not taken my order. I knew it was is first night on the floor and I've been a server before so I know how it goes. Still, I was getting a little impatient. Mohammad came over to check on me and apologize for the wait. Then, he asked what I wanted and said to get what ever I want because the entire meal would be on the house. Wow, above and beyond... again, I was truly impressed!
I ordered the Sombosas, the Shawarma Lover's Platter (w/Chicken and Gyro), a Baklava (homemade... mmmm... :-) ) and Zara's Chi Chewy (one of their signature desserts... a very unique and tasty combination of a cookie base with whipped cream, nuts, blueberries, and strawberries). The food came out in a very reasonable time and was very good.
I especially enjoyed the Sombosas and the Gyro Shawarma. When Mohammad asked how everything was, I commented that I really enjoyed it but the chicken was a little dry. He said, yes, it seemed a little dry tonight, so he brought be out a plate of Beef Shawarma (which was very juicy and tender), a side of their Basmati Rice and a cup of their special Zara's Iced Tea for free... keep in mind he was already giving me the entire meal for free.
All-in-all an excellent experience. Yes, there was some difficulty at the beginning, but they made up for it and then some. They make all their food from scratch in house and Mohammad, the owner, was friendly, caring, gracious and very attentive. I will definitely go back and I recommend it to anyone reading this that loves good Mediterranean food. Posted on January 9, 2016 |

★☆☆☆☆ We have had food from this place several times. Last time was last night I picked up a to go mix grill and falafel. The falafel tasted no where near a real falafel and was fried from the outside and uncooked from the inside.
The mix grill was ok until I found a peace of STEEL WIRE in my food (looks like a peace of a cleaning spiral scourer) thanks god this didn't go in my mouth / stomach. I found that just before I finished eating so I'm not sure if I have swallowed any unnoticed wires before then. Well, I guess I will know if I get any stomachache in the coming few days.
I also believe the food is a little overpriced and the quantity is small compared to same category restaurants in the area.
I would have considered continuing to go to this place if haven't gotten this steel wire in my food. Posted on December 28, 2015 |

★★★★★ Swung by on my way back up to Dallas. Nice atmosphere for a couples night out. Ordered the gyro wrap meat was really tender and delicious. There are baked potatoes pieces that add a nice touch. The chicken burger and chicken wrap were also delicious. Posted on November 8, 2015 |
