★★★★★ Amazing food and customer service! The best shawarma in Houston! Posted on August 4, 2020 |

★☆☆☆☆ This place is near my workplace, and I gave it a try based on recommendation by a colleague. The receptionist was not friendly at all, if not rude. I tried their beef and lamb shawarma and was very much disappointed as the meat had absolutely no taste and for some reason it didn't even taste like any meat would (may be it was too old and lost all taste). I literally threw away the food. Never going there again. Posted on October 3, 2018 |

★★★★☆ Good platters. I liked their sauces that complement the food very well. They have good beef and Chicken shwarma / platters. Food is not spicy but has the authentic taste. Would definitely recommend it to other folks. Posted on May 18, 2017 |

★★★☆☆ I am surprised to see such high reviews. This place is average. Shwarmas were bland every time I tried them. Not bad, but not good. Service was slow. Took 20 min for a Shwarma when there weren't Manu people in shop. Not really bad, but not good if are in a rush. I stopped eating here. Friend called and found out that the chicken is not zabihah, it's not hand cut but it is halaal. I avoided this place after learning that. Overall if you need a quick bite, it's okay. But I wouldn't go there given other options in area. Posted on November 11, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ the food is very very average. im surprised to see all the 5 star reviews. Eating in a grocery store, from paper plates and getting fountan drinks is not quite 5 star to me. and the food is just OK, not much variety either. Posted on August 1, 2009 |

★★★★★ Nice owners (the new owners, that is), clean restaurant, and good food. These guys have really improved the place since the previous owner.
The old owner was terrible, and suffered "colonial syndrome," in which he would be extremely pleasant with the non-Muslims in front of you in line, but when you (the Muslim) got to the register, his whole persona and facial expression would change(to negative). Again, the new owners are great and the food is excellent. Posted on November 17, 2008 |

★★★★★ This is one of the better Arabic restaurants in Houston. Ive been to a lot of Arabic restaurants and this one is one of the best. The restaurant is combined with a grocery store, but the food makes up for every problem you would have with the place. I go there almost every other day and the food still taste great. The place is under new management as of March, and the owner is very nice and friendly. I say give it a try at least once, and it will have you coming back. Posted on April 16, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Good, fast food style. The kebab/shwarma sandwiches and platters are good, and reasonably priced. The cooking is mild and north African style, may be bland to some. Friendly family owned business. Posted on November 15, 2005 |

★★★★☆ The food here is made very well, but slightly over-priced for the portions you get. I like the shawarma (chicken or beef & lamb), falafal, hummus, baba ghanouj, kebab plates, and the baklava and other Mid-East pastries at the front. It's very casual but very clean. I've seen a lot of non-Muslims that eat here, too, so anyone with a Western taste will like it as well. There is a halal/import grocery store connected to it with a large selection of rice, canned goods, jams, teas, cheeses, yogurt, some gifts & housewares, even some jilbabs. The location seems to be great since it's right at the intersection you turn in to get to the ISGH Masjid on Old Louetta Rd. Posted on August 6, 2005 |
