★★★★★ All the negative reviews are way off.
Firstly there was no pork. Secondly the service was excellent.
Based on the reviews here, I expected a long wait and potentially below average food, however, I love Malaysian and Chinese type food, so I gave it a try to decide for myself.
The place is HUGE compared to other chinese hakka restaurants. We went at 630pm on a Saturday and the place was near full. They had some tables reserved, so you can make a reservation. Despite the large number of people inside the restaurant our food came out in a VERY timely manner.
They served us a huge pot of Jasmine tea for four of us for free. Other restaurants, you'd have to pay per person. When we were reading our menus, they even came to check in and see if we had any questions about the dishes which I've never experienced at any other restaurant. They also came by often to clear our dishes, and responded quickly when we asked for fresh plates or more tissues.
They have a HUGE selection in dishes that range anywhere from $5.99 for appetizers, to over $25.00 for lobster.
We had mango salad and chicken satay (2 in 1 dish), hot and sour soup and a fried tofu with peanut satay salad for appetizer. ALL very tasty and excellent.
For mains we had: Crispy Stripped Beef (tart and sweet), Sizzling Chicken (spicy), fried chicken with coconut spices (salty), and shrimp and chicken fried rice.
All of these were really good with no complaints, we just found the fried chicken with coconut spices too salty.
Admittedly, their servings are a bit smaller than other restaurants. Each order could serve three people.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Posted on March 9, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ This restaurant is falsely claiming it is halal. i spoke with the manager and he said he receives both poultry and meat from sargent farms. that is next to impossible because sargent farms does not sell meat. Just in case, i called sargent farms and they told me they havent supplied them for over a year. clearly i caught the manager lying. i wouldnt eat at a restaurant where i caught the manager lie to me.
TAKE PRECAUTIONS! Posted on April 27, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ It does serve Pork at this restaurant, I don't know how it is suppose to make other meats halal. Don't visit this place, eat it at your risk. Posted on December 20, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I have been here twice, and I must say it is a unique restaurant. I'll start off with the atmosphere, they have karaoke with a huge screen, and a small "dance stage". The staff were friendly, although they may not have english as their forte. They do have several halal signs and I did not see anything pork on their menu, despite what the previous review stated.
As for food, I thought the quantity was excellent value and the quality pretty good. I've been there both on a Monday and Saturday, and there is a difference in service, and understandably so as it is very busy on Saturdays. Their style of food is more on the traditional asian side, rather than the typical "coconut curry". I did not notice any alcohol being served or offered. Posted on December 10, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Worst service ever ! Might be due to huge numbers of customers compared to stuff. We were a group of 15 people on sunday night, ordered all the items we chosen together, but they started with serving 1 plate of noodles for 13 people! Then after 10 minutes they served soup, after another 10 minutes we got another plate of noodles, after while they brought beef but no rice yet! It was a mess. But one thing i should admit : food quality is very good. For food only I will give them 5 out of 5. But for service, they will get 1/5. Posted on October 7, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ I took my family for Ramadhan iftar (breaking fast -2nd time around) and my husband pointed out the printed menu that said "Pork". We were shocked by it and did not return again.
Don't get me wrong, the food was good however, I have hesitation about the halal sign. Posted on August 28, 2012 |

★★★★★ Amazing food and excellent service. We were a little nervous to try a new place but the moment we were seated, that feeling changed. Very friendly staff and a lot of different varieties. We ordered chicken satay, shrimp cutlets, tum yum chicken soup, chicken corn soup, chicken shrimp fried rice and chilly chicken. Everything was delicious and quantity was adequate as well. The soup portion was so large that 2-3 ppl can share. The chicken satay is to die for! All our food with taxes came to $40 which I think is fair for 7 dishes!! A must try... I'm going to go again next weekend! Posted on June 16, 2012 |
