★★☆☆☆ First of all, the status of this restaurant being HALAL is not correct. I will caution all that when you go to this restaurant, ask if the meat is Zabihah Halal or not.
We went to the restaurant yesterday and thanks to my wife who said that we should ask for Zabihah. The owner told me that Philly Steak sandwich is Zabihah and sometimes chicken, the rest is not.
I was also told by the owner that they do not serve pork but everything is not Zabihah.
The place is below average on food quality and very poor for dine in option.
I would not go back to this place again and will not recommend it to anyone. Posted on May 27, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ One of the few halal places in the Tenderloin that isn't Pakistani. The pizza is so-so. I ordered a slice of meat-lover's so the guy took a piece of cheese that had been sitting out for hours, topped it with meat and cheese, and put back in the oven. Not the best pizza I have ever had, but super cheap. Posted on March 5, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ Beware!!!! The only Zabihah meats at this place are the chicken and the ground beef. If you ask the people behind the counter, they will merely say "everything is halal" so you have to ask specifically about zabihah status. What's worse is that the zabihah items on the menu are mediocre at best and the restaurant is in a very, very bad part of town where homeless people routinely come into the restaurant and ask the patrons and owners for food. I definitely will not be returning to this establishment. Posted on July 15, 2011 |

★★★★☆ This was my second time at this restaurant. The pizza is good, not great, but the chicken parmesan sub is amazing. I have had it both times and it had been stellar each time.
The location is convenient to Union Square, but would not walk there at night. They also deliver, which is great. I will definitely go back. Posted on March 10, 2011 |

★★★★★ My husband had the meat lover's pizza and loved it. I had the philly steak which was pretty good. This place is open late...the only downside is probably the area but it seems safe enough during the day. Posted on December 1, 2010 |

★★★★★ Try the Philly cheese steak, its mouth watering. This place is a nice little spot in a not so nice area. A must try if you're in San Fran. Posted on September 23, 2010 |

★★★★★ Some of the BEST halal pizza in the Bay Area! Its in the Tenderloin and the area is kinda shady (heads up if you want to bring your family for dinner), but its ABSOLUTELY worth it. Halal signs are located everywhere. The philly steak isn't so great, though. But this is definitely some of the best halal Pizza I have EVER had. Posted on July 14, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ we love the vegie pizza! was disappointed to find that the chicken they get is the "halal" one from restaurant depot, which, unfortunately, does not meet the zabihah standards as the meat is machine slaughtered and stunned. wallahu`alam. Posted on April 5, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Good food, lots of variety in their menu. I wish I had more time to sample some of their other dishes. I agree that it is a small place and not very conducive to friendly dining, but we were there with the family and it wasn't bad. The meat lover's pizza was very good, as were the hot chicken wings. The calzone subs were not bad either. Overall, one of the better places to eat halal American food in SF. Posted on November 24, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ I has ordered chicken philly sandwich but was given Philly steak sanwich which was even not cooked well and one could barely eat it.Upon returning to restaurant the owner refused to accept that there was any mistake in taking the order and even worse that it was not cooked well.I had to pay half the price for another order, had it been any other restaurant/chain they would not have charged the customer for something that was not cooked well.So the customer service is not satisfactory which is important for a small business to grow.
Any how food tastes good ( when made well) but this is not a nice and clean place to dine-in , only carry out . Posted on October 24, 2009 |

★★★★☆ The area may be a little dodgy but the pizza was very good. Had half veggie/meat pizza and it was definetly worth it. Posted on August 7, 2009 |

★★★★☆ Great fast food in the heart of the city. It's in the Tenderloin area, so it's not a very nice neighborhood but its still worth going to. It is a complete take-out place, but service and food is great. It is also close to the Jones and Golden Gate Masjids. Posted on July 27, 2009 |

★★★★★ I went with my husband and a friend about two weeks ago and the food here is great! The area however is not. I've never been so scared to leave our car on the street like I was that night. But if you're willing to overlook that, definitely go here! Had the meat lovers pizza and chicken parm sandwich, yummy stuff! Posted on July 2, 2008 |

NR I think this place might have closed down as I went here for lunch on a thursday and it was closed. I also called a week later (also during the lunch hour) and again no one picked up. I also called on a weekend and again no answer! If someone who regularly goes here can confirm and post on zabihah that would be appreciated! Posted on April 19, 2008 |

★★★★☆ I took my wife and kids here on a recent visit to SF. Service was friendly, but pretty slow. The place is in a pretty seedy part of town -- wouldn't recommend taking family at night. We had cheeseburgers which were terrific and a pepperoni/sausage pizza which was also pretty good. Posted on May 5, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Great food & great prices. The cleanliness needs to improve though. Posted on March 21, 2006 |

★★★★☆ I take my kids to this joint every time I visit San Francisco. They have good meat lovers and pepporoni pizza. I had an excellent hamburger and chicken sandwiches. Posted on December 19, 2005 |

★★★★☆ The pizza is great, especially the meat-lovers one. But the neatness and cleanliness of the place needs to be improved a lot, especially if you are going to eat there. I once took a non-muslim friend there and he was worried to enter at the beginning, because of the look of the place. After eating he admitted that the pizza is really good. Some Advice: Give napkins, I don't know why they are so stingy about napkins, it doesn't cost that much. Clean the table and chairs and try to improve the look, at least to compensate for the surrounding area. Posted on November 19, 2005 |

★★★☆☆ I had gotten the pizza the last time I was there and thought it was pretty good. But then a homeless woman came in and started swearing at all of us (we were sitting closest to the door). The people in charge of the restaurant didn't do anything for a little while after my party got a little freaked out. If you're going to be in that kind of location, as an owner, you should definitely try to do something about problems like that. Posted on October 20, 2005 |

★★★★☆ Great food and great prices. Salads are plane though. Posted on October 18, 2005 |

★★★★★ They have the best cheeseburgers and their Meat Lovers pizza is the best I've ever tasted. All the ingredients are halaal and its great value for the cost. They deliver promptly as well. Posted on March 21, 2005 |

★★★★★ Its my favorite pizza place in the whole bay area. Their san franciscan pizza is really great. The guys are very friendly and nice. The pizza gets ready in less than 10 minutes. Posted on June 5, 2004 |

★★★★★ Very friendly, and very halal. Open 'till three on the weekends and two on weeknights. These guys all have beards and play Quran on the radio. Oh, and they offer Pizza by the slice too. Posted on May 6, 2004 |

★★★★★ What a great place to get a pizza! All of their ingredients are halal and zaberdast! Their prices are reasonable, and they give coupons. They deliver in the SF area as well. They are right around the corner (1 block down) from Shalimar and are an excellent alternative. Posted on April 25, 2004 |
