★★★★☆ Awesomefood. I work around the block from this place. Thier wraps are always amazing. It gets realbusy around lunch time, so arrive early or come later. A littlesteep for a wrap at $9, but it's a loaded meal. Posted on February 1, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Fairly good food, but unreasonable prices. Posted on January 20, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Visited SF a couple of times over the past few months and stayed at the Hyatt across the street. Much to my surprise and happiness I didn't have to go far to find something halal.
Tried the Shawarma and Gyro, which I really enjoyed. Had a Shish Taouk Chicken plate, which I didn't like as much.
The people working when I went were nice and friendly. After a couple of days of going they recognized me by face. No place to really sit down and eat so more of a take out place. But overall very good value if you stick with the wraps and sandwiches.
Will definitively visit again in my future trips to the city. Posted on February 8, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I'm very satisfied with oasis so far..i've been here a few times trying different thgs and none had ever been disappointing..careful with the lamb menu as the lamb is not always halal, ask before ordering..if it's clear that you're muslim, the guys there will tell you to change your order..i appreciate their service..quite fast although the line during lunch hours are quite long..buy its the best halal place near embarcadero! ★★★★☆ Salam, The Shawarmas here are very good. I work about 10 minutes from here and find myself eating here often. The Kefta and Chicken Shawarmas are excellent. Muslims and Non-Muslims eat and enjoy the food here. Posted on April 17, 2008 |

★★★★☆ Went here the other day. The only Halaal place it seems in and around the embarcadero area. Chicken Shawerma is very good. Service is friendly and quick. Note: the line and wait time at lunch is unreal; it wraps around out the establishment and in front of the nearby Walgreens. Still, if you're looking for good food, it is worth the wait! ★★★★★ The only halal place within a 5 minute walk of my office. I'm a weekly visitor and the food is the reason. I can confirm that the chicken and the kefta are halal. Order the chicken shawerma spicy and you will walk away one happy muslim. Posted on August 5, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ I visited this place a couple of days ago during Ramadan and asked if the food is Halal. Thr owner's brother was working there (and he was fasting at the time) and he told me ONLY the chicken is- therefore, the beef and other meats are not. I've decided not to eat there as there is a risk of cross-contamination between the cooking utensils used for the chicken and beef. Posted on October 31, 2003 |

★★★☆☆ One of the few halal joints in SF Financial district.
Gyros is the usual crappy frozen processed MSG loaded stuff. Stay away from it.
Chicken sandwiches are good.
Check if the cheese in chicken melt is halal. Posted on October 14, 2003 |
