★★★★☆ Good to have a Halal Food Cart in San Francisco (Finally)! Tried the combo plate with chicken and lamb over rice. It was pretty good, but did not give as much meat as similar places (i.e. Food Carts in San Jose) in the Bay Area. I liked the chicken better than the lamb. Cash Only. Long lines, but they move quickly. Drink (water) is expensive from here, so get it from somewhere else. Posted on September 17, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ This place quality has gone down from the past year I been coming. The last time I came was the last straw. Rice is hard and inedible and the chicken is just all shreds. I really like this place before but the quality is no more. Posted on August 29, 2014 |

★★★★☆ I spoke to the guy at the cart (assuming he might be the owner), he is from South Afghanistan. He verbally assured me the food is all Halal. The food is decent, I visited the cart after finding it on Zabihah and reading a lot of good reviews from Yelp.
I ordered a combo of Chicken and Lamb plate, the quantity is a lot usually comes with rice and bread; but I opted for just salad. Food is very spicy, all for just $7. I work about 2 blocks from the cart, wouldn't mind going again. Posted on November 7, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Got a $7 gyro plate. They give huge portions of gyro meat, rice, and salad. Option of beef, chicken, or combo. They also have a $6 gyro sandwich. Didn't like that the white sauce was mayonnaise based and not tzatziki.
Cash only at the moment. Only recommendation I have is for owners to get a square card reader like other carts and trucks to accept credit cards.
Overall a great addition to the area for a quick bite for lunch. Posted on October 31, 2013 |
