★★★★☆ The food was good and authentic.
But the service was very poor. I called before hand to confirm that the restaurant closes at 3pm for lunch.
When we arrived there at 2:30pm, the cashier/waiter was obviously in a hurry to leave and almost refused service. He only relented when I insisted and informed him that we had called before hand and was informed to come before three. We were all hungry so I told him we will quickly order and ensure that the last order will definitely be before 3pm. He grudgingly agreed!
But I must say the food made up for the bad service. Posted on November 13, 2012
★☆☆☆☆ No indication whatsoever that this is a halaal restaurant and alcohol is served on the premises so I guess it isn't. The kitchen staff cannot cope with the rate of orders which resulted in some customers being turned away. The manager/waiter is rude. Prices are reasonable and food is average. ★☆☆☆☆ This restaurant was a disappointment. First of all, alcohol is served on premises and ambience is very Hindu- oriented. Secondly, food was below average. We ordered mixed grill Posted on September 1, 2011
★★★☆☆ We got there a little late for lunch (they close the restaurant between 3 and 7) so we did not have much time to look over the menu and order. We ordered keema mutter and chicken karahi. The flavor was a little on the mild side for our taste but overall decent given that this was the only halal indo/pak restaurant in the area. According to the waiter the halal meat is from the Bangladeshi butchers in the area even though there is no visible halal sign in the restaurant. Posted on February 5, 2010
