NR Store has closed down . No longer here Posted on January 20, 2018 |

★★☆☆☆ Service is horrible here. I've been here twice under the Matt's House of Kabob name, and a couple times when it was Friends Kabob, and a few times when it was Tanoor.
They've forgotten orders, messed up orders, given incomplete orders...
The kabobs were not great, honestly. Sadaf is down the street and they serve much better kabobs and have completely opposing service. Posted on October 18, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ This restaurant needs to know what it wants to be a sports bar or an upscale food heaven!? When we went with a group the service was weak and the food was burnt the rice was undercooked and overall I had a not so pleasant experience. Although I believe that they have a lot of room for improvement the management needs to step up and get into action for this restaurant before it goes downhill. Posted on April 13, 2014 |

NR Best Iranian kabobs in the Washington DC Metro area.
As a life long patron of Sadaf and Yekhta Kabob, I was shocked that a new restaurant could outshine these veteran restaurants. But my stomach speaks only the truth: matts beats all the rest.
I recommend the spicy chicken for all desis who need some spice, the chenjeh for the fans of Iranian kabob, and finally the soups for the hardcore Persian foodies.
PS: Is this better than Shamshiry? Yes, you silly Virginians, this is far better than anything Shamshiry could dream of making. Posted on March 13, 2014 |

★★★★★ I went to this restaurant for the first time last night, and I was very pleased with everything. The food and the Kabobs tasted really great, the service was also superb.
I really liked the Home made Dough (yogurt drink) as well, if you go there try it. They also have Iranian Icecreams and sweets you can eat as well for dessert if you wish.
I would recommend this place highly. Posted on July 23, 2013 |
