★☆☆☆☆ Food had no flavor and their qabbuli pulao seemed to be just put together after everything is cooked separately. Did not feel like an authentic afghan experience at all. Their naan was just cut up store bought bread served cold. Would not return Posted on March 27, 2015 |

★★★★★ We are a family of five (parents and three children) from New York who visited Afghan Kabob House yesterday, looking for good Halal food in the area. We were greeted by the owners, a husband and wife who are very kind, humble people and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant has a nice seating area, is clean and they do have a prayer space. We ordered two chicken wraps, two soups (the sister told us it was lentils and it also had chicken kheema, beans and yogurt, and it was absolutely), a salad, a palau and two traditional palaus with raisins and sweet carrots and lamb. The food was delicious, authentic Afghani dishes. If we lived in the area, I'm very sure we'd be visiting this restaurant a lot more due to the welcoming atmosphere, the kind owners and the wonderful food. If you are in the area, please visit, and we highly recommend this Papa and Mama business. (As a note, the service station (convenience store with a gas station) next to the restaurant also appears to be owned by Muslims, because they gave salaam and were very polite. We cannot confirm they are Muslims as well, though. We are just speculating.) Posted on January 18, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Went to this place on a vacation and found the place to have a nice sitting area. It's run by an older couple and the food is really really good. It tastes like its home made. We had chicken kabob, shami kebab, spinach, chick peas. We had sambosa gustee and eggplant as appetizer... Also very delicious. The service is a little on the slow side but well worth the wait. And their bathrooms were clean!!! I would def recommend this place. Posted on August 9, 2014 |

★★★★★ We dined here while on a family vacation. We called around 8pm on a Tuesday night and asked if they'd stay open for our party of 10, 5 kids and they were happy to oblige. We reached there half hour after their closing time. The restaurant was good size and was very clean. The owners very friendly, polite and respectful. They served us family style just as we do in our culture if you went to someone's house for a dinner party and were so very welcoming. We ordered Kabob combos and Kabuli Paloo. The food was very delicious. The service was great and the best thing was the ownership, such cordial and genuine people. Cannot recommend enough. Posted on August 7, 2014 |
