Famous for slap-yo-momma good burgers and being on Food Network's 'Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives'. We are the only trained chef-driven burger joint in town. Burgers, gyros, fries and more! Not to mention everything is halal. Added on January 27, 2013 and last updated 6 years ago

★★★★★ Mashallah the most mouth watering, melt in your mouth, drizzling, sizzling, heavenly, juicy, delicious and all good adjectives you can find burger. I only order their aptly titled ultimate cheese burger that has a char-boiled flavor with all of the right toppings and portion enough to feed 2. Even tried their fried mushrooms and jalapenos which are good.
Everything is hot and fresh and cooked almost right in front of us while we wait eagerly but not for too long alhamdullilah. I always make sure to mention everything needs to be halal and the brother running the place has always assured they make sure to make it as such for his Muslim customers and showed me the halal sign. They did admit using bacon for their Non-Muslim customers but they use halal turkey bacon for the Muslims and make it separate. They said they even plan to stop using the other bacon completely and 100% halal with support from regular Muslim customers inshallah.
I call before going there. They were closed on a Sunday and other times if I was too late they refused to accept orders or only had take-out. Posted on October 22, 2013 |

★★★★★ Excellent burgers here. Generous portions and fries are really good too.
Not much seating space but good enough. Bathrooms reasonable.
Constructive criticism for this place in specific and others in general (i.e. the kind of things that just invite unnecessary bad press for an otherwise good place):
-If they wanted to advertise as a halal place they should remove the pork bacon options. Don't play that game of making your Muslim customer have to second guess or ask for halal at a halal restaurant.
-Also if families are visiting, you'll find the posters on the walls are inappropriate. Posted on September 1, 2013 |

★★★★★ Amazing place with a wide variety of burgers (with chicken, veggie, and gyro options as well). I was worried whether it would meet the hype and it certainly did. The burgers are enormous, so come hungry. You can also customize any burger as well. I had the Texas burger with additional avocado and it did not disappoint. Some burgers/options include bacon, but they have a sign clearly stating you can specify halal turkey bacon (they were courteous enough to ask me as well to make sure).
I went with a non-Muslim friend and he loved it as well. This place is not very pricey for the amount of food you receive. The burgers are very generous portions with freshly toasted buns. A complete meal (burger + side + drink) will run about ten bucks. This place stays busy with both Muslims and non-Muslims, which means you know they're doing something right!
Bottom line: best halal burger joint in the metroplex. I'll definitely be returning regularly to make my way through the menu. Posted on August 25, 2013 |

★★★★★ The place is not too difficult to find(it's inside custer square). This so far is the best burger place in Dallas. We ordered 4 combos: the avocado cheese burger, jalapeno cheese burger, texas burger and the chicken jalapeno with sweet potato fries. All 4 were cooked to perfection. I think the best one was the jalapeno cheeseburger. It had a nice kick to it. The portions are huge for the price. Staff was very friendly. One thing to keep in mind is that it's a tiny restaurant (maybe 5-6 tables fitting a total of 30-35 people), be sure to get there early. It was completely packed and we went around 145. I will definitely come back here and bring my friends and family. Posted on August 10, 2013 |

★★★★★ Let me jump on the bandwagon and say this place is the best halal burger place in the US. been coming here for 2 years now. It was a terrible time waiting for these guys to come back after the fire. I am so glad they did. The burgers patties always cooked juicy. The bread to meat ratio is perfect. The place is always running if not outright packed so the food is always fresh. The new seating arrangement is also better to accommodate so many people that come hear. Other halal fast food places in DFW please take note. This is how its done! Posted on April 18, 2017 |

★★★★★ Been there several times. Burgers are excellent. Wish they open on Sundays. Posted on March 20, 2016 |

★★★★★ Amazing burgers and great Philly cheesesteak. The portions are huge- I mean huge!! The family size fries can serve a small village or at least 8 hungry family members. It was delicious and well worth the money. Also establishment is clean and neat. Another plus. You gotta try this place! Posted on March 15, 2016 |

★★★★☆ Great burgers. I mean REALLY good burgers. I got my daughter chicken strip they were good as well. I was told the bacon is beef. My only complaint is the place isn't that organized and when your order is done a dude basically whispers your name. Posted on December 27, 2015 |

★★★★★ Best burgers in Dallas hands down but I was just told by someone that they use restaurant depot meat Posted on December 10, 2015 |

★★★★★ I just called the owner this morning and asked him if he sells pork bacon to non-Muslim patrons and he assured me that this is not true.
11/9/2015-It is not often that you get an authentic burger that you want to eat a second if there was place in your stomach, but this happened to me last Saturday when I had a burger here. Service is very friendly and fast. When I walked through the door the owner greeted me with salaam and a smile. I went back on Sunday to have the second burger, but they were unfortunately closed. Please update the business hours.
By the way, I just read some of the 'featured reviews' now and I noticed that it is mentioned that they do serve bacon to cater for non Muslim patrons. If this is the case and they serve any pork items whether it is seperate or not, I will edit my review and I will not return to this place. Posted on November 17, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Not bad place at all! Zabihah or not! its still Halal! Posted on January 18, 2014 |
NR I have confirmed with the staff that they get their meat from Restaurant Depot. All of the halal meat in Restaurant Depot is machine slaughtered and hence not zabihah. Posted on January 16, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ They have destroyed their burgers. Now it's all dry bun and less meat. They used to have the best burgers in DFW. I used to love their Avocado, Jalepeno, Blue Cheese and Chilly burgers.
Olive Burger admins: please give me back my burgers. Posted on December 31, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Burger was good and the service is fast. A little on the dry side. Extensive menu with different types of burgers. I think ill try the Philly next time. Posted on December 7, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ okay burgers. had better burgers in dallas. dont like the fact that they serve pork bacon for customers who wants it Posted on November 19, 2013 |
★★★☆☆ Have gone twice now and both times received dry burgers that had a "burnt spice" taste - very extensive menu though and prompt service. Posted on October 31, 2013 |

★★★★☆ great food and service. I prefer them over jimmy big burgers but recently visited a-1 burger house in irving which is same quality but way cheaper. I dont like how they have pork bacon. Posted on October 23, 2013 |
★★★★☆ Hands down the best burgers in DFW, we drive all the way from Ft Worth and it is well worth it!!!The only nitpick I have is the bacon issue. Be warned that they will put real pork bacon in your burger if you don't ask for halal turkey bacon. Why the heck would a zabihah burger place serve real pork bacon as a menu item???? I understand that they have non Muslim customers but who is their main customer base. I know a lot of people who stopped eating here when they heard about the real pork bacon due to the possibility of cross contamination. Also some of the posters on the wall are not really suitable for a family environment. Posted on October 22, 2013 |
★★★★☆ I like the jalapeño burger here. Can be a little irritated during rush hours. Posted on September 4, 2013 |
NR Olive burger serves both turkey bacon and pork bacon. The owner at the counter said that they keep the two grill separate for pork products and non pork products. Please verify your order if you feel necessary. Posted on August 31, 2013 |

★★★★★ Everything everyone has made it out to be. Very good halal burgers. Tons of variety. Friendly order takers. I would go here again and would refer this to all my family/friends. Posted on August 15, 2013 |
★★★★★ The most amazing burgers in Dallas. Signs everywhere indicating its halal and verbal assurance from owner meat served is Zabihah and they use turkey bacon. I prefer the Ultimate burger, but heard the grilled chicken burger. Both come with lots of toppings.
Make sure you try the jalapeño ketchup, its unique. Place is frequented by cross section of Dallas community muslims, non-muslims alike, including bikers, locals, etc. Hard to find behind Enterprise dealer. Posted on July 12, 2013 |

★★★★★ Stop for lunch today, was really surprised to have tasted the best halal burger in DFW area. My choice # 1! Posted on July 6, 2013 |
★★★★★ I'm still not satisfied with the mediocre halal joints in Dallas but Olive Burger is one of the bright spots. Probably the best halal burger in the state. My wife still likes Elevation Burger better but who said she knows anything anyways! Their cheesesteaks are solid as well. Try their sweet potato fries. Posted on June 28, 2013 |
★★★★★ Great burger and food. Location is a little stingy but nice inside. Good portions. Fishstickeater enjoyed it and Fishstickeater knows best!! Posted on June 8, 2013 |
★★★★★ Hands Down The Best Burger I Have Had In Dallas!! Everyone Must Go Try This Place!!
Food Is Zabihah, As Per Owner, Who Happily Verified Where He Gets His Meat!
Make Sure You Try The jalapeño Ketchup, Its Amazing!!
I Must Add That Philly Steak (Both Chicken And Beef) Is AMAZING!! What Makes It Great, Is That The Bread Is Fresh And Toasted To Perfection!! Nice Crisp With The Perfect Amount Of Meat (Not Alot Of Onions Used As A Filler By Other Places)!!
Also A Fairly Healthy Option Is The Grilled Chicken Wrap!! So Much Flavor In The Chicken!! Posted on June 7, 2013 |
★★★★★ The owner verbally confirmed the Halal status. Good choices. Very good burgers. Fast service. The place from outside does not look very nice. However, I'd recommend it for its taste and service. Posted on April 29, 2013 |
★★★★☆ EVERYTHING is not halal! The owners who are from Iran told me that they have real pork bacon in the back but it doesn't touch the grill where they make the other meat. Upon asking about "diners, drive ins and dives", they said they had no idea what that was, lol. The burgers were really good though. Next time I will ask them if they know the difference between halal and zabihah and to produce a certificate. Posted on April 14, 2013 |
★★★★★ Best place ever!! Posted on April 13, 2013 |
★★★★☆ The food is amazing, only issue is the bacon. They serve halal turkey bacon and pork bacon and sometimes they forget to ask... Posted on April 13, 2013 |
★★★★★ After hearing all the rave reviews about Olive Burger we decided to make the long drive from FT Worth. Wow was it worth it!!! Had the cheese burger with fries, wife had the same with sweet potato fries and it was fantastic. Half pound burger pattie with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions and a pickle. Came with a very generous serving of fries. Hands down the best burger I have had in a long time. Service was fast and very friendly. Be sure to try their special spicy ketchup. The menu has a lot of non burger items as well. Will try some of those on the next visit. Posted on April 5, 2013 |

★★★★★ Looks like an old school school burger Joint. Got the Double Cheese Burger with Halaal Turkey Bacon. Thing was almost as big as my head. They definately give you a good bang for the buck. Burgers were Amazing, I will definately be back there often.
In terms of its halaal or not, Owner said it's halaal and there Vendor's name is on a sticker by the Grill. The Turkey Bacon he used was Metamar.

★★★★★ Went to this place last night and had the house chicken burger with turkey bacon and it was the best chicken burger I have ever had, no joke. My brothers had regular hamburgers and were also raving. They have pretty big menu so I plan to go back Inshallah to try other items. Jalapeno ketchup was great along with the fries. Posted on February 14, 2013 |

★★★★★ awesome burgers! I confirmed with the staff that their food is halal. Posted on February 11, 2013 |

NR Came here for lunch. Wasn't sure what was halal and what not! So ended up ordering some veggie options! Can someone clarify what is actually halal here apart from veggie options? Posted on February 7, 2013 |
