Inchin's Bamboo Garden |

Inchin's Bamboo Garden was reported closed or not Halal 2 years ago Inchin's is a combination of the words Indian and Chinese. This truly describes our cuisine. Since Calcutta played a very important part in the development of Chinese cuisine in India, it is here that our food is inspired from. In today's Global Cuisine trend ours is a fusion of many far eastern cuisines. Some of the dishes are inspired by Malaysian cooking which in turn is influenced by Indian and Chinese cooking styles. It was a natural follow through that we also introduced Thai cuisine as part of our menu in order to keep to the Pan Asian concept. Added on September 22, 2006 and last updated 2 years ago

★★☆☆☆ Like other reviews, we thought the food was just "okay". It was nothing special. Unfortunately, I don't know of other places around here that have good Chinese food. Posted on September 11, 2018 |

★★★☆☆ Good service. The food was ok. Kinda bland as most people mentioned here but with fairly restrictive Halal Chinese options, I would probably come back albeit not very frequently.
Alcohol was on the menu but I couldn't see anyone from any other tables drinking so it didn't ruin the ambience. Posted on July 2, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ We are very disappointed with the taste of the food. Meat has no taste, does not taste like Chinese food. Service was good. Posted on September 13, 2014 |

★★★★★ I love this place. I've been here I don't even know how many times. It's become our go-to restaurant. The food is great!
It doesn't matter if they serve alcohol. If you don't drink alcohol then don't drink alcohol. It's that simple. They might have statues and art on their walls for decoration but if you're not going to go to a restaurant because of their decoration choices then it's your loss.
Let's not be narrow minded. Accept our differences and live your life. Hopefully by now you've realized that everyone is different. Even other Muslims are different from you. It's a fact. Posted on March 11, 2014 |

NR I liked inchin, have been there number of times but found out that they use rice wine vinegar in many dishes which is not halal. Also they use soya sauce containing wheat and soy bean, which during its manufacturing produces 2 to 5% of alcohol by process of fermentation, this alcohol might not be mentioned in ingredients as it is not an additive ingredient but it is formed during process. I saw those soya sauce bottles on tables, also mailed the restaurant to see if they were using the same in the kitchen during cooking as well but they didn't reply back. So Muslims should ask them to get an alternate brand of soya sauce that is alcohol free. Posted on January 21, 2014 |

★★★★★ A bit pricey, but you'll find excellent food here. It's indo-chinese food, meaning that the food has indo-pak spices mixed into it which I love. Posted on July 11, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ If you are more than 5 people don't go coz they charge 20 % tip and they give worst service and bad food. Posted on March 13, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ We started with the hot and sour Soup. It was way more Spicy then a regular chinese places. Rest of the food was ok. Posted on August 8, 2010 |

★★★★★ Very good chinese food, kinda pricey but good food. We had the lomein which was ok,the devils beef was really good, chicken szchoun was really good too, chicken friend rice was alright, nothing too grand. I think its worth supporting the halal restaurants even if they sell alcohol and have statues rather than going to completely non muslim/non halal places. Posted on January 24, 2010 |

★★★★☆ We love Bamboo garden. At first we were put off because many of the dishes did not taste the way we were used to them tasting. For example the Mongolian beef. But now its the only dish we order (we ask for it spicy) Also I like the chicken manchurian with veggie fried rice. We personally do not like their noodle dishes and sadly their hot and sour soup has become poor. Even though its pricey and we still like coming in for our few favorite dishes. ★☆☆☆☆ I have been here a couple of times. Food and service are not good. They serve alcohol also. I got vege dishes. Owner and people working here are non muslims. Posted on October 12, 2009 |

★★★★☆ According to restaurant management, they use rice wine in their appetizers but they claim that they can refrain from using it if told to do so when the order is placed. Muslims should advise the management not to use wine when ordering and also advise them to mark items which might contain wine on the menu so Muslims can either avoid them or order them without wine. ★★☆☆☆ Inchins uses Kikkoman Soy Sauce, which has ALCOHOL in it. This makes their dishes not halal. If you ask them, they even know, but will tell you, "our meat is halal. Posted on April 16, 2009 |

★★☆☆☆ Ate here only once and it was very ok food. The appetizer was the best part. We tried the Mongolian beef and it needs some serious help. I will not be back. Spent $40 dollars with tip for two entrees and an appetizer. Posted on April 12, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ I ate here while visiting friends in Seattle. Food was strictly OK. The mongolian beef was average but the spicy beef in garlic sauce wasn't good. Another reservation i had was that they serve alcohol. Posted on March 25, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ I need confirmation other than verbal assurance from the staff that the food is halaal. Is there any Halaal food preparation/serving certficate from the city of Redmond? There is no sign or paper or writing on the menu which confirms this. Are the owner(s) afraid that by putting this in writing they may be liable if found otherwise?I want solid proof...simple comments are not proof. Thanks... Posted on December 28, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ The food was pretty good, but unfortunately they serve alcohol and they have statues all over the place. I'm not sure whether or not the owners are muslim. All I know is that I won't go back to this restaurant until they take down the statues and get rid of the alcohol. I encourage anyone who fears Allah and the last day to do the same. Don't support muslim businesses which sell alcohol. And especially those which display statues (major shirk). Posted on November 27, 2008 |

★☆☆☆☆ I ate here while visiting Seattle. I was quite disappointed with the food. The chicken had this awful stale taste to it. Unfortunately there was chicken in the soup and the two dishes I had ordered. We must have taken a few bites and rest the left. Posted on August 25, 2007 |
