The menus at this restaurant clearly state that Halal food is served. From the management: 'Everything is Halal. We are non Muslim but all of our chicken, Lamb and goat come from Muslim distributers. We do serve alcohol because it is our business need but you can ask for a seat away from alcohol.'

★★☆☆☆ I have eaten here twice now. Someone should find out if the food here is still halal or not. I realize I should have done it when I went. It's been years since this restaurant addition was updated. I will just say that I had the buffet and their haandi special which included several things like chicken tikka, palak paneer, seekh kabob and chicken curry. I prefer to eat at other restaurants for similar food. Posted on March 25, 2015 |
Hello Yasmine, I am The Owner of Haandi Indian Cuisine. And our chicken lamb and goat come from a Muslim Distributor. and I can provide his phone number if you want. His Name is Basi. |

★★★★☆ They have a lunch buffet every day, maybe even on Weekends. About $8 or $9 per person which is a good deal. That's a good place to start and get to taste various dishes. Run by a family. But don't go to buffet too late, like not past 2pm, because then the choices are reduced as they start winding down. They have some interesting fusion items also on the menu Posted on January 7, 2013 |

★★★★☆ The service was fine. Had chicken meethi and that was delicious. Also had an eggplant dish which was ok. The price was a little more expensive than what I would like to pay. I would proly rate it closer to about 3.8. Posted on October 26, 2010 |

★★★★★ I and my 3 Saudi friends visited Haandi for Lunch. Before we reached there we called in and placed our Order. As soon as we reached there we were welcomed and we were given booth. Our ordered Lamb Chops, Chicken Tandoori, Lamb Biryani and Kobus. Humdull-illah.....food was very tasty and the service was excellent. Our Server Brother Joy was so good he took good care of us and we were very comfortable. At the end he also gave us discount, which we didnt except. I really appreciate Akku Joy as he greeted us with Blessed Salam valecum. We will definately recommend this restaurant to our other Saudi Brothers and also to other Muslim Brothers. Bretherns people might say lots of bad things we personally have to try and then judge. We surely be back. Masalama..... Posted on October 3, 2010 |

★★★★★ Very welcoming owner, when we arrived, and asked about the "halalness" he immediately should us a certificate, as well as an invoice for where his meat was purchased,
As far as the food, WOW, I would definitely say we were happy, the chicken tikka masala was great, and the garlic naan's were great, even after a while they did not get hard, they stayed nice and soft the whole time.
but hands down, the best, what you must try, the CHICKEN PAKORAS, even my 4 year old son couldn't stop eating them, the chicken stayed moist and tender, but its that coating that puts it over the top!!!
definitely recommend, and just a stones throw from the mall... Posted on October 2, 2010 |

★★★★★ "SAL-AM VALE-CUM"
I called Haandi for reservation of 8 people on 10th day of RAMADAN. I fixed my reservation and I asked if they are serving Halal Foods. Got good answer "YES" only upon request. He asked me if I am Muslim. I said Yes, he told me that if I request Haandi for Eftar meal they will provide us. I agreed and told him to go ahead.
We reached there 15mins earlier before Eftar. We were welcomed with SAL-AM. We sat down and I asked my Server about break of Fast. At once he came with Dates, Fruits, Drinks and Assorted Fritters. We were very much happy to see all around us. While we were about to break the fast, I saw my Server standing with chilled Mango Lassis and some Soda's. He didn't disturbed us. Which I really appreciated him.
We ordered our food, within 15mins our food was on table, it was really delicious and finger liking. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Chops, Garlic Shrimps, Lamb Buryani, Spinach with Cheese, Plain Nans & garlic Nans. All food was cooked to the right temperature and the taste was perfect. My Family and friends enjoyed their Breakfast as if they were at home. Our Server made us very comfortable and his Food and Service was excellent far more better than the restaurants I visited.
When we finished our Meal we were send off my big Sal-am by saying MASALAMMMMMMMMA...
My best wishes to Haandi and his total staff for taking good care of us and making our Eftar a memory in Haandi's. I strongly recommend anyone to visit Haandi Indian Restaurant for tasty & mouth watering Food and Excellent Service.
INSHA-ALLAH WE WILL BE BACK VERY SOON.

★★★★☆ I didn't actually eat at this establishment, but my parents brought food home for me. They said it was very clean, so I guess that is a plus.
Coming from a home where there is Pakistani food almost every day (delicious pakistani food (love you ami :), my standards may be a tad high, like the poster below stated. Firstly, I don't think their beef is halal, so we avoided that all together. I had the chicken pakoras, garlic naan and the lamb korma. All three were tasty. Again, it's nothing spectacular but a great place to come of you have a hankering for desi food and no desire to cook it. Posted on August 21, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ I'm Pakistani, so perhaps my standards for South Asian food are a little high. Here, I found the food so-so, nothing to write home about. (may have been just the dish I got). The owners are nice and welcoming. Posted on December 16, 2009 |

★★★★☆ The food was good and plentiful. The owners openly sell alcohol and it makes me concerned whether they really serve zabihah. Posted on November 7, 2009 |
