The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. Lamb shank and Koobideh (Kufta) Kabob is zabihah Halal, as of September 2006.
★★★★★ I was told the lamb and chicken kabobs have zabihah halal options could be made to order. Got the chicken kabobs with the lentil rice. The kabobs were delicious, extremely moist an juicy an cooked perfectly. Rice was good as well. There was a $0.50 extra charge for zabihah halal. The lady and gentleman working there were extremely friendly and forthcoming about what was zabihah. No pork is served there either. I was pleasantly surprised to find a place that served halal in this area as its my impression there aren't many halal places around. I would go back again. Posted on August 13, 2013
★★★☆☆ food was very good, need to have proper signs for what is halal or not. at times servers are confused or body language is a bit awkward enough to easily give an impression that they are making fun of client. but no doubt, food was awesome Posted on July 10, 2011
★★★☆☆ They serve halal chicken, beef and lamb. The owner mentioned they would have full halal menu soon. I think Kafta kabab is the only thing that is not halal Posted on June 20, 2011
NR Chicken and lamb is zabiha the person there told us. We were a little surprised when there was extra 1$ charge for zabiha chicken at the cashier. Posted on November 6, 2010
★★★☆☆ If your in the mall and want to eat zabihah then this is your only option.
Food is mediocre, I possibly would have chosen to eat a veggie sandwich from subway instead of the chicken shawarma from here.
I give it 3 stars because the customer service was good and the man was very kind. I would eat here just to support fellow Muslims. Posted on September 19, 2010
★★★☆☆ Went last week and was told halal chicken is kept in the back and can be ordered. All the kabob/beef stuff is halal, no special order necessary. It is their plan to eventually have 100% halal. As for taste, the chicken is bland and kabobs as well. They need to reevaluate their marinade. The fries were good...they had fried fish which looked good to try next time. Lentil rice was ok.
