★★★★★ Excellent quality food, beef seekh kebab, Biryani, nan and chicken boti kebab were fantastic, reminded me of food from Lahore . Seating is limited but food quality makes up for it. Posted on December 29, 2019 |

NR I didn’t eat because he was very very rude and don’t have any sense of communication. I guess he came from cave to run restaurant directly. Posted on September 8, 2019 |

★☆☆☆☆ Horrible taste of the food here, never been in Pakistani restaurant so horrible experience and horrible food taste. Had to wait too long around 45 minutes. Ordered chicken biriyani, seekh kabab beef and chicken, chicken cheese naan, lamb boti-- did not find any of these item taste good at all, waste of time and money. I had been big fan of Pakistani restaurant in sf Bay Area-- sf, Fremont, Santa Clara, San Jose. Posted on January 21, 2013 |

★★★★★ I went here for dinner as I thought I would try this place out as it was one of the few Zabihah joints in this area that I had not yet been to. It was a great alternative to the others. This place had excellent food. We had the Beef Nihari, chicken Karahi, chicken Biryani, Tandoori Chicken, and some naans. All were cooked well and extremely delicious. The prices are really competitive and the place is neat and clean with ample seating. The service was top of the line as our waiter was very friendly and constantly checked up on us. I also liked how they have an open grill you can see while you are seated. Posted on December 2, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Went here for lunch today after some recommendations by friends. The food was good quality and tasty. I ordered the Seekh kabab (came steaming hot on a grill plate and was one of the best I have had), also the Karahi Chicken which was pretty good and garlic naan (tasty, but thinner and smaller than most other Desi restaurant naans). The chai was very good too. The service was a little slow (but since it was lunch time rush with a lot of people I understand why). The interior of the restaurant is small and a little cramped when full, so not good for large groups. The restrooms are small and dirty. Typical for most hole in the wall desi places- great food, but lacking in ambiance. Posted on December 16, 2009 |

★★★☆☆ Chicken karahi was average, nothing special.
The owner was nice. I asked the "waiter" for some ice with my drink. He said "It's already cold" Posted on November 29, 2008 |

★★★★★ This has got to be another MUST hit in San Fran. The food was amazing.. I had their briyani and kabobs and they were mouth numbing.. The owner/staff found out I was from michigan and took the time out to talk to me, and even offered me complimentary kheer when I was about to leave, and let me just say I nearly fainted after eating the kheer..I have never had such delicious kheer in my life. I am totally excited about visiting San Fran again just to go to this place. A MUST EAT RESTAURANT. Posted on November 1, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ It is a very small restaurant which can not handle more than 4 tables at a time. The food is average. The owner was very nice person but i tried few dishes and really not up to mark. Posted on September 23, 2005 |

★★★★★ Without exaggeration LK is amongst the best desi restaurants in California. As a native of the Bay I for long thought Shalimar was the crown jewel of desi restaurants, and while I still love Shalimar, LK is a great alternative. Their specialty is really their salan (karahi) dishes as the name implies, though the tandoori fish is also very good. In comparison to Shalimar LK does not come near the Shalimar chicken boti or the seekh kabob. The LK tandoor items are okay, not great. I'm a self proclaimed desi food gourmand, as such I don't like too many desi restaurants...LK is in the uppermost echelon alongside Shalimar.
I advise you to anticipate a long wait in your order as the owner "Guddu" prides himself upon cooking each dish. Though the process is slow it is certainly worth the wait ("all good things"...)
I highly recommend ordering the chicken jalfrazi and the chicken karahi - laziz. Posted on August 14, 2005 |
