★★★★★ Beautifully decorated cafe. Small, but still very charming. I felt like I was in a Balkan town, and the fact that the Bosnian language also surrounds you adds to the atmosphere. Very cozy atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. They were happy to recommend a dish for me since it was my first experience with Bosnian food (PS, the sausage is AMAZING). The food was delicious and the staff was helpful and friendly. I tipped a third of my bill and they were very grateful, which of course made me wanna come back again. It is also conveniently located near a (Bosnian) masjid. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants great service and great Bosnian food! Posted on August 6, 2013 |

★★★★★ I have been visiting this location since 2003. Since last year the place has transformed from a regulat look alike halal food joints in to old town sarejevo. I love the turkish style fountain cheshma.
Well food is better than even before. They are accomodating, friendly and respectful to muslim patrons as well as non-muslims.
All the best to the mom and the son. However, please post a halal meat verification somewhere. Hopefully in a original Bosnian frame :o) Posted on December 22, 2012 |

★★★★★ I had a chicken sandwich today based on the recommendation by an earlier reviewer. And as he says the sandwich was really delicious. It is much bigger than the conventional fast food sandwich and the bread is really good. Reminded me of Indian bread! I asked the waiter if the meat is halal and he said that it is. However the meat being sold at the counter (pre-packed sausages, etc.) didn't have any halaal markings on them. Posted on February 15, 2008 |

★★★★★ The food is amazing. Especially their bread. My wife had a strong urge to find out the bread recipe. I have been there twice and both times I had an amazing time. The price is very reasonable. The first time I picked a few items and the guy said it will be a little too much and he was true to his words. They are very generous in filling up your plate. Very Very hospitable couples who run this place. I would recommend it to everyone. Gotta check it out. Way to go. If they wanna see more of me all they gotta do is maintain their standard and thats good enough for me. Posted on May 26, 2007 |

★★★★★ Walk into this place and you seriously walk into Bosnia, whose culture, people, and food many other Muslims are unaccustomed to. Most patrons are other Bosnians, but I was greeted with very friendly service by the owner. I had a Bosnian sausage sandwich which was delicious. With eastern European warmth as its setting, it is the casual gathering place for the sizeable Bosnian community living closeby. All meat is halal, the owner told me, plus a recommendation that on the weekends they serve fresh lamb. Will definitely be going back to try out other dishes. "Bosnian" should also be listed in the "Type of Cuisine" drop-down menu. Posted on April 14, 2006 |
