★★★★★ We had the lamb an chicken kabab over rice and it was very good. The serving is humongous, especially since it only costs $7. The platter also includes a nice portion of salad that also has olives and cauliflower. While I was eating, two other customers came by to order the lamb chops platter and both commented on how good it was. I will return to try it iA before I leave Philly. Service is also friendly and quick. Posted on October 3, 2015 |

★★★★★ A great place with excellent chicken cutlet sandwiches, delcious chesesburgers and of course great chapli kabab. The staff is courteous and ensure fresh food is delivered to you. The only cons are parking and wait time but fresh food is certainly worth the wait. Posted on March 16, 2014 |

★★★★★ Their chicken over rice and gyro over rice are like cart food but better - the meat is tastier and the rice much more flavorful. Prices are cheap with nice portions. In truth, I keep coming back for their white sauce, which is out of this world. Their kabobs are good too. Owner is extremely nice and very generous. Posted on December 18, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ This very basic restaurant has an American/Middle Eastern menu. We've tried the cheesesteak (average) and kabobs (slightly above average) and both were cooked fresh but not worth writing home about. If you need fast, cheap food, then you should try it. Posted on April 29, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ The prices are very reasonable. The food is fresh and good. The taste is not extraordinary, but good and at these prices I would say very good. Service is very good. They messed up my order as well as the other guests that were there though. The problem is that the guy taking the order writes the serial number from the menu on the order and passes it on to the cook. His 7's looks like 9's etc. :) which messes up the order. Surely go again inshaAllah. Posted on April 28, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ This place is completely average. Just a little step down from an the actual NY carts that they derive their name from, they do have a wide selection and are open late so if you need to eat here you can. Posted on January 16, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Tried the beef and chicken platters, as well as cheesesteaks. The food I think is average, with good customer service. Posted on January 7, 2012 |

★★★★★ Very nice place. Friendly staff. After a long time, enjoyed Chapli Kabab. The taste took me back to Pakistan. Posted on October 19, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ The prices here are very good and cheap. Staff is also friendly.
The food, however, is not the best Afghani food that I have eaten (I much prefer Kabul Kabob house in Alexandria, VA and Maiwand Kabob in Columbia, MD).
The Kabobs (and I have eaten the Lamb tikka, Chicken tikka, Chick Kofta, and Beef Kofta) were merely OK. The rice is actually not at all like the Pilau or chilau I have eaten at any Afghani or Iranian restaurant.
In sum, the prices are VERY good but the food quality is merely ok. Posted on October 6, 2011 |

NR Great new addition to the Halal scene. Large variety of Mediterranean, traditional American fast food and some Pakistani/Afghan dishes.
Food is over all quite good and the staff is very friendly and the three times that i have been here they have gone the extra mile in being courteous. My favorite is the Chapli Kabab which is the closest to the original Peshawari Chapli kabob that I have had in the US.
Parking is street side but if you drive past the intersection there is lots of parking in the strip mall on the left.
Overall 5/5. Posted on July 23, 2011 |
