★★★★☆ The food is cheap and tasty. If you don't want to wait in line at the NY Gyro then this is the place to go. I order the lamb sharwma and it taste pretty good. Owner is friendly and service is fast. I hope she doesn't retire anytime soon as this is spot for fast cheap lunch truck service. Posted on October 26, 2012 |

★★★★★ These ladies serve fresh, excellent food. The menu is enormous, and extremely reasonably priced. Whether or not you keep Halal, you must try this food-cart; at least for me this is the best lunch option on the Penn campus.
The only problem is that it is right outside of Wharton, and a 15 minute walk from where I work. Posted on October 25, 2009 |

★★★★★ I had a falafel pita bread when visiting Penn Univ. It was raining and cold and I had a hard time finding the truck. But the lady of Hanan's was very nice, she gave me free falafel to try as I was clueless of what falafel is ;) I can tell you that hot falafel, cheese, tomato, salad and hot sauce in a pita bread, in the cold weather (even in summer) is a piece of heaven! Alhamdulillah! Keep up the good food and great smile lady! Posted on June 23, 2009 |

★★★★★ Quite simpy some of the best kufta and shwarma to be had in this fine city. Large portions for a very cheap price (the most expesive entree is $5.75). The is the best quick halal lunch to be had in the city. Perfect location right across from Wharton, about 3 blocks south of Presby and about 3 blocks up from the VA. Call ahead to avoid the wait - very busy at lunch. Posted on November 6, 2006 |
