★★★★☆ Lunch buffet was worth it. Loved the tikka and naan, ashame there wasn't any beef dishes though. Posted on February 3, 2017 |

★★★★☆ The place itself is very decent. Nice sitting area, good for families and ambient light. They had a TV which was playing old Bollywood song videos, good for nostalgic background music.
We ordered chicken tikka and chicken tandoori and they were both freshly grilled and were served on a sizzling platter. The tandoori was burnt a bit however the tikka boti was soft and juicy.
Naan was good too, butter naan by default. They were out of paratha so that was disappointing. It seemed odd because we were there at 9:30pm ... Normal dinner time.
This is more of an Indian restaurant than Pakistani ... Big difference in taste, dishes and use of masalas.
Overall the place was nice and quiet. Sofa chairs were uneven and uncomfortable (spring board). But the bathrooms were clean so that's a plus. Posted on February 6, 2016 |

★★★★★ Its a little pricy and they have no beef dishes. But the food they have for buffet is good. The chef seems to come out an great the customers to see how they like the food at every table. The severs are nice and take care of anything you need. Food tastes great. I wish they offered naan free as part of the buffet as well as soda free as part of the buffet. Overall its a great place to go for a special night out. Posted on January 16, 2016 |

★★☆☆☆ I have been here 4 times because they really have the best desi food on Long Island. Best seekh kabobs, chicken karahi, naan. Overpriced but worth it. Why 2 stars? They have serious attitudes. Some of my family members have gotten into fights with the guy behind the counter twice as well as the tall lady manager over their attitude and stopped going there. They cannot handle a group larger than 4. They will be annoyed if you call over more than twice for anything. They gave my brother partially frozen ras malai. When he called them over to request it be heated since it was frozen, the tall lady literally boiled it and plopped it on the table without even eye contact. Also we were a party of 8 and our bill came to $240 which included gratuity I suppose for their rudeness! Their food is spicy but good but go as a 3-4 people. Order once and shut up and eat your meal and pay about $100. I really think they should not be in the restaurant business but they do not like serving their customers. Posted on October 11, 2012 |

★★★★★ I went here once back when I was on LI and I wish I had gone more often. Food is great and is incredibly filling. Rarely do I reach the point of being filled and I reached that point with their Ramadan iftaar specials. Will make a point to head back there when I make my next trip back. ★★★★☆ I only go during the buffet times (lunch time during weekdays, and evenings on Saturday and Sunday.)
The food is outstanding, although I am not of South Asian origin, so I find it can be very spicy the first couple of times, until you get used to it!! (Get lots of water - although my South Asian friends had no trouble with it.)
They usually have a decent variety of dishes - the vegeterian ones are more spicy, so I tend to avoid those, but I really like their Chicken Tikka Massala, as well as their BBQ Chicken. The desert is hit or miss, but usually you'll be too stuffed to try much of that.
Wonderful food, well worth the price for the buffet. Posted on June 21, 2011 |

★★★★★ Love their chicken makhani, has gone through numerous new owners, but food stay good, although their customer service has gone up & down, depending on who owned it at the time. Good stuff & nice for family meal inside the restaurant itself. Posted on November 12, 2008 |

★★★★★ Food was excellent, nothing generic about it. Every dish made a statement. This is truly a hidden gem in an obscure corner of Long Island. It is much better than any other desi place I have tried in the NYC area. My sister who is visiting from Toronto says it is also better than any desi restaurant she has tried there. Not cheap but well worth it. Posted on August 9, 2008 |

★★★★☆ The chicken tikka masala and biryani are great here. Aside from the chicken jalfrezi everything I tried was really good. The service wasn't bad. Posted on April 13, 2008 |

★★★★★ If you are looking for good Indian/pakistani halal food curry kabob is the place to be. I was in long island for my spring break and I was passing by route 112 and I came across this place. The food is off the hook I recommend the chicken tikka masala and biryani. Coming from Canada which has a lot of desi food joints this was by far the best indian/pakistani restaurant I have been to in N.America. Posted on March 18, 2008 |

★★★★☆ They are a bit pricey but they make up for it in their service. Their dinner buffet items are a good mix of veg/meat dishes but the three times i have tried the buffet the dished seem stale. My only beef with them is the insane spice levels of the food. Almost all their dishes are SO HOT that you loose the flavor of the dish and numb you taste buds! Not suitable food for kids! ★★★★★ I used to go hicksville for halal food, one of my friend told me about this place, last week me and my husband both went there, food was outstanding and the service was remarkably noticeable. Small and clean place.Vermicelli pudding was great and Falooda ice cream reminds you your back home. Posted on September 24, 2007 |

★★★★★ We were six people yesterday for the weekend Buffet, food was great and mouth watering desserts was out of the world. We never had a great food and great service at any other restaurant in New York other than "Curry Kebob House" Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Items, Chicken Karahi and every thing was delicious. Garma gram naan was awsome. We recommend every one atleast try once. Posted on September 23, 2007 |

★☆☆☆☆ if you are interested in a "halal" restuarant then this is DEFINETLY not the place to go. NOT A FAMILY ATMOSPHERE. our family had to endure the most un-islamic atmosphere in the restuarant with vile and lascivious so-called comedians who, rather than inducing laughter, made me want to pick up the fork on the table and stab myself in the eye...we couldn't wait to get out of that place fast enough. in addition the owners conned us all out of a great deal of money and did not even inform us before sitting down that we should expect to be charged, to pay nearly a 100$ to endure torture! definetly never going back to that establishment and would STRONGLY discourage any decent human being from going here. very dissapointed. ★☆☆☆☆ Restaurant is a terrible place for families. The atmosphere is inappropriate and the owners are not very understanding at all. I do not recommend this for families. Posted on July 30, 2007 |

★★★★☆ Excellent food, Clean envoirement and reasonable prices with very good service.Chiken Tikka masala, karahi gosht and chicken karahi are great. Posted on February 15, 2006 |

★★★★☆ I like this place a lot, in that there are not many desi places in Long Island where you can sit down and eat. Most places are fast food and the places are dirty.
Here you have a very clean establishment that is charging Kabul Grill and Ali Baba prices and you get your moneys worth in my opinon.
The fish pakoras are excellent, and the kheer is great as well.
I am a bit biased as they know my mom and they hook me up. All that being said they make a sick keemay vala paratha. Posted on November 1, 2005 |

★★★★★ The food is great since it has the same ownership as Kababish Restaurant in Jackson Heights. Management changed recently and serice got much better. All my friends in Stonybrook love it. Posted on November 1, 2004 |

★★★★★ The quantity is really good for the price. The biryani is like homestyle biryani, its very good. The chicken tikka isn't bad. Overall, it's a good restaurant. You don't need to go Jackson Hyght. The Kabab and Lamb chops are the best. Posted on October 29, 2004 |

★☆☆☆☆ I used to go here all the time b/c it was one of the few halal places near school. however, the last time I went I got horrible service and will not go back again. I waited over an hour for food, to find out in the end that they didn't have what I had ordered. They didn't even bring us our drinks while we waited! Since the ownership changed, it just isn't the same anymore, the food used to be cheaper and tastier. Posted on April 6, 2004 |

★★★★☆ The food is top notch, but it is really expensive, especially when cmpared to the city. Posted on January 18, 2004 |

★★★☆☆ Hello, since my last post here the owners have changed and the quality of food has gone down. The kabobs used to be INCREDIBLE and the chicken was so JUICY but now everything is smaller in portions and sometimes even stale..when i asked the counter person why the kabobs got so small he replied with 'new owner, new atmosphere, new kabobs' in a very nasty way.
