NR I called the restaurant to ask if they were halal, told me they are not. I don’t know why they are on this halal restaurants list. Posted on August 16, 2020 |

NR Told me they get their meat from Bilal farms so i checked with the farm and he told me he doesn't deliver there and has no knowledge on them. I would double check before eating here. Posted on August 26, 2015 |

★★★★★ I frequent this restaurant a lot and their food is consistently good.
Agreed that its price and the slow speed of the service is not that of a fast food chain. The quality and service makes up for the delay and cost. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
I will continue to come back to this place. Posted on February 16, 2015 |

★★★★★ We went here during Ramadan, keeping in mind that this is not a fast food restaurant the food was delivered in a reasonable time period. Each person ordered different food and the unanimous consensus was that the food was great. I will go back to this place for sure. Posted on July 21, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Had the lamb shank which was marinated and cooked perfectly. Even with reservations we had to wait 10 minutes for "our" table to be clear. The service was rather slow but the staff was courteous enough. Posted on January 9, 2012 |

★★★★★ I came here with a bunch of guys to break our fast.
We had to make reservations but that's all good. The atmosphere is very nice. I decided to order a turkish steak and man oh man was I in for a surprise. Every one of us ENJOYED the food. It was juicy, it was flavourful, it had it all. The only problem with this place is it can get a bit expensive. But they have a diverse menu and that's the beauty of it. Dessert time came and I chose the Chocolate Souflette, It was AMAZING. Then on top of it all, we were a group of ten people, so as a way to appreciate us, the manager said "You know what? Here's Turkish tea for all of you. ON THE HOUSE!"
Great experience but it's expensive. Be prepared to pay a lot. BUT IT'S WORTH IT! Posted on August 24, 2010 |

NR I called them once to ask about there meat and they mumbled. Then they told me they bring it from newzealand but it is halal.
Since then I have my doubts. Until someone convince me that's not the case, I wouldn't go back. Posted on March 5, 2010 |

★★★★★ Went to Topkapi yesterday for dinner. Preston is under construction so it took a bit longer to get there, just ignore the road closure signs ;)
Also, make reservations, it was really busy even though we arrived at 8:30PM and there were people still eating when we left at 10:30PM.
The interior decor is very good. The staff is very courteous and the traditional Turkish attire adds an excellent touch.
Now, the food.... excellent Turkish food, I must say the best I've tasted outside Turkey... the red lentil soup and the homemade bread and simply amazing... the Meza sampler plate had some very tasty portions, can't recall all the different concoctions present in it, even though the waitress spent quite a bit explaining each and everyone meticulously, I guess I was too busy eating :)
We tried Iskander Kebab (lamb), and two chicken dishes as the main course... once again the Turkish names escape my mind, one contained thinly sliced chicken the other was a thyme marinated boneless chicken dish. All the main courses were tasty and the portions huge, had to take the leftover home. I personally liked the Iskander Kebab the most, it was just a tad bit bland and could have benefited from some of that Turkish spices in meza sampler, but even then it was very good overall.
We ordered the Turkish tea and coffee to end the night and went home thoroughly satisfied, will visit this place again soon. Posted on November 22, 2009 |
