'Tandor' is the Indian word for oven, and refers to the clay ovens traditionally used in India to cook marinated meats, vegetables and Naan breads that give the cuisine earthy undertones via the powerful heat generated inside such ovens. Tandori cooking as such, refers to cuisine thus inspired by recipes and cooking styles in Northern India. Tandori serves craveable items like Butter Chicken, Shrimp Korma, and Curry Beef served with Basmati rice and Tandor baked Naan bread which have become increasingly popular with Canadians from all walks of life.
