★★★☆☆ Amazing chapli kabob! Too pricey but nice place Posted on May 24, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Food was good, chapli kebab was really big and nice. Only down side was that it was really expensive. 15 $ average per dish. Posted on May 24, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ I wrote a review a few months back for this place. I was respectful and honest however the owners inboxed me through zabihah.com very rudely. I am shocked at how rude and unprofessional they are. I will be complaining to better business bureau. Once again terrible service and rude owners. The KHAN reviewer below is the owner by the way. NR Me n my husband went their on our vacation a few days back n I have to say the food was TERRIBLE, bland n tasteless !!!!!! I could b eating cardboard for all I paid !!! It was expensive. We were do hungry after a whole day at Epcot n we couldn't eat a single thing. The waitress was nice she recommended chicken vindaloo n the sheesh kabob. Web the food came it was lamb instead of chicken!!
I called the owner who was on laptop. He said he doesn't eat the food here himself n goes to nearby chat house! Ok that's a good indication right there how bad his restraunt in terms of food is. He was really rude n mean n kept saying ppl love his food ( we're we invisible?!?!) . We left our hardly touched dinner n paid the 35$. totally not recommending this to anyone. Pathetic ! ★☆☆☆☆ My wife and I ate here and the decor is great but it's a shame the food does not live up to the place. We had 2 starters and 2 mains along with the biryani and they were all terrible. The food is also expensive which makes it even worse. The lady serving us was also miserable. Posted on May 10, 2012 |

★★★★★ i came here to florida for a medical conference, and some of my collegues suggested and invited me to this restuarant from convention center area. i must say, the restuarant set up was grandoise and service and food quality was a step above my expectations. in fact, i even ordered an additional meal to take with me to the hotel, it was the pilau with meat. extradoniary. the prices were in line, about $10 or so, but this one is a must visit, professional trained staff was a bonus, a rare site that is, in the halal restaurant industry. ★★★★★ never saw anything like this at an indian/pakistan/afghanistan restuarant, the waitresses were very helpful and kind, 2 different ladies served us, and they both made sure our experience went smoothly, they bring hot piping grilled kebabs to your table with the flame still lit on the bottom of the plate, and not once did i ever have to ask for a drink/water refills as it was taken care of automatically, in fact the sauces accompaning our dishes really stood out..the staff here tried very hard..exemplary, the food without question deserves more than 5 stars. ★★★★★ maza blew my socks off! never seen everything executed so flawlessly at a desi run restuarant. world class menu and service.fire grilled seasoned afghan kebabs were tops. so were the indian specialities.i will say they are NUMBER 1 in Orlando for 'INDIAN" food, the staff is uniformed and greet with open arms, the waitress was very attentative and appeared well versed and trained. and the food was sizzling, especially the kebab. well done deserves 6 stars. ★☆☆☆☆ Me and my wife were completely disappointed. we tried chicken tika masala and shish kabob, there was NO TASTE IN FOOD AT ALL,we visited this place on our 6 days stay in orlando beacuse it had good reviews on zabiha. we lost our appetite and couldn't eat anything at all. we decided to just pay and go eat some where else. when we asked waitress to bring us the bill she asked if everything was ok and we told her that how horrible the food is then she insisted us to talk to the manager/owner. when we talked to him he said we just opened this resutrant two months ago and "AMERICAN LOVE OUR FOOD". he said my cook has 35 years of experience. he was very rude. ★★★★★ The best dinner we ever had. This place is fantastic. Good food, Great service and and one of the most beautiful Desi restaurant I have seen. Owners were gracious enough to accommodate us even after hours. Wow what a service. OH! by the way Kabob Platter was delicious. Owners really know what they are doing. Posted on February 19, 2012 |

★★★★★ my family is originally from peshawar and afghani, it was a true delight when we heard about an authentic afghan restaurant in Orlando. Everything here was truely amazing. i am not just saying that due to my background, as i have spent 80% of my short life here, it's really that good and everything was done up to a standard not found in many halal places in florida. i recommend the peshwari style naan and the dhaal was maginificent in presentation and taste. one of the best halal experiences i have had so far. ★★★★★ I have never seen a halal resturant in the orlando area that is presented as well as this maza location. all details were accounted for and the sheersize of the dinner menu was mindboggling. i saw quite a few "american" diners here and i can attest as to why. service was exceptional and was addressed with respect and courtesy. the food was prepared like a work of art, my companion was also impressed and we wanted to try so many exotic items not found on other "desi" menus, mostly afghani food, i have never had opportunity to eat before. i will be back soon to try the rest of the menu, 5 star location, 5 star service, 5 star food, and menu prices from $7 to $13 on average from what we ordered. well worth it and unbelievable. ★★★★★ Our stop at Maza for dinner turned out as a very pleasant experience. Kofta, & murgh kebabs, meat curries, garlic and Burbari naans, and the dessert are a must try. Mango mousse, rus malai, and gulab jamuns were mouth watering good!
The ambience, was lovely. The server was very professional & extremely polite. One of the most delicious dinner we have had on our trip to Orlando. We plan to stop again and try the other dishes that we didn't get to try. Posted on February 6, 2012 |

★★★★★ I heard about Maza all the way from Texas, and when my family & I visited Orlando, this restaurant was a must see. I definitely enjoyed my experience there and the food was mouthwatering. The service was exquisite and the owner greeted and chatted with us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a fine dining experience. Posted on February 4, 2012 |

★★★★★ Simply, an excellent experience: warm greeting, great service, great food, and great atmosphere...could not have asked for a better combination of afghan/pakistani/indian cuisine, which is not easy to find. I wish this place was in Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Posted on February 4, 2012 |

★★★★★ A cut above the rest!.very impressed by overall execution of the establishment, right down to the aesthetic details, and the attentative cordial server the owners and managers are well versed in what it takes to win discerning customers over. the food quality was extradinary and well portioned. My mother in law is a culinary artist and she was thrilled with her meal, especially the boneless meat being soft and tender and spiced exactly the way it should be and she said the next time she visits us, to always bring her here as opposed to some of the other indian places we had been taking her in the past on international drive. ★★★★★ Great Location! Full size restuarant and a great afghan-paki-indian menu, lots on offer here, liked coming here, never had any problems with service or food quality.Afghanistan menu is irresistible/enjoyable/will cook according to taste, we requested spice alteration, they gladly accomodated., glad to see it in Orlando. ★☆☆☆☆ We live in Windermere and decided to visit this restaurant for a family dinner based on the good reviews here. Big mistake! As we entered, the owner was sitting at his laptop right by the entrance. He looked at us but did not even have the courtesy of smiling, forget a simple hello! That was unbelieveable! We felt like intruders in their restaurant. We ordered the shrimp biryani, which was the worst biryani I ever had. Completely bland, with no flavor whatsoever and priced at a steep $16. The Goan fish curry was an equal disaster. The only dish worth eating was the kofta kabob, which was quite good but the accompanying rice was as bland as the shrimp biryani. Me and my wife both lost our appetites completely and had to pack up the dinner so we could eat at home with maybe some spices added to it. I must say that the waitress did try her best to provide good service, but the ignorant and "we don't care" attitude of the owner spoiled our image of this restaurant completely. All in all, I would NOT recommend this restaurant unless one would want to cut a deep hole in their pockets and walk out disappointed. We spoilt our evening out completely! Mr. Sheikh, thank you for taking time to visit Maza and then again taking your time to write a review. I have been in the restaurant business for many years and have learnt that the the best measure to how one's products is to hear from those who buy the products. I have over the years learn a lot from opinions of my clients... they have been my best advisers. I hope that you will review what you have written. |

★★★★★ i believe the managers and owners hold this restuarant to very high standards..the service, the food presentation, the preparation style and taste, and beautiful decoration along with fair pricing, clearly shows they have this down to an exact science... wholeheartedly recommend, everything was commendable, especially the lamb korma, simply delicious and the freshness came through for everything else too.keep up the excellant craftmenship in this restuarant. ★★★★★ We're from NJ but moved to Miami last year. We've eaten at most halal restaurants in the NY/NJ area and at some in the Miami area. We're in Orlando for 4 days. I don't want to raise your expectations too much but this is by far one of the best dining experiences we've had. The food, the ambience, the service. All excellent. So much so that we asked to meet the owners and my wife complimented them by asking them to open one in Miami!! FYI We happened to order from here the day we arrived. Then yesterday we ordered from another restaurant which needless to say fell far below our expectations so to be safe we had dinner here again today. Posted on January 19, 2012 |

★★★★★ this restuarant is in a league of it's own when it comes to halal indian/afghani restuarants in Orlando, this type of service, taste, and style i've only seen on my visits to exclusive indian places in toronto, new york city, and los angeles, some of the places my work as taken me, astonishing that the prices are between $8 to $16 give or take, for the high end experience, i sincerely believe none can compare in orlando for indian food when it comes to amicable service and decor, and great food all around, try the palaak and the lamb chops.both were extradonary and the decoration alone is pure bliss. ★★★★★ Excellant Decor, a full service halal restuarant, nice upscale ambiance, and the food was well presented and tasted delicious, this is one of the better halal places in Orlando, you can proudly bring in your american friends, and it will meet or exceed there standards, sometimes you go to a halal place, and it feels uninviting or lacks warmth, or looks like a place too close to home, so it gives off a bad vibe to your non-muslim guests, this place however, can run with the best restuarants from all cross sections, i would highly recommend to entertain guests as well as families, as there's ample space and comfortable dining room with a large menu several pages long..loved my first dining experience and the food, will make a repeat visit soon! :) Posted on December 28, 2011 |

★★★★★ We came to Maza for dinner as a special family outing for our family visiting from out of state. We were pleasantly surprised by friendly service and generous portions. The menu was packed with a variety of Afghan and Indian dishes that easily could be served family style because of the generous servings. My family not only enjoyed their selected dishes but the beautiful decor. Our group of nine were seated on custom made couches around a large table that was condusive to comfortable conversation while being ample enough to fit all of the dishes and condiments easily. The food was amazing and we will be return customers. I would highly recommend Maza as a family friendly establishment with a menu that will please all. Posted on December 28, 2011 |

★★★★★ We went to this new Afghan restaurant just open with our friends. I think it was the best dinner I ever had. Let me tell you Afghan Kabob's were the best I ever had and nan were just like back home very light & tasty. My wife ordered chicken curry & vegetable and she also loved it. Maza is beautiful well decorated and also very clean restaurant. They serve Afghani & Pakistani food. If you are in Orlando you must give them a try. You will be delighted. The best chaplee kabob & Kofta kabob we ever tried. We are hooked & will defiantly go back to this restaurant. Also service is great and friendly. Posted on December 27, 2011 |

★★★★★ I am from Afghanistan. Maza is the only Afghan restaurant I found in central Florida. Tell you what, that it's like eating back home in Kabul. Kabob's and naan we ordered are just like we make back home, very tasty & fresh. Great thing is they make everything fresh so you can have it as spicy or mild you like. we also tried Indian curries & were wonderful with no oil floating on top. Place is very clean & very nice. I recommend to everyone to give them a try. They had live music on weekends. Posted on December 27, 2011 |
