★☆☆☆☆ Recently moved to the area and went during lunch time with my colleagues. Unfortunately, we took a take out and got sick few hours later including my work colleagues after eating their tandoori chicken and kabobs. We wanted to eat at the restaurant but it was so dirty and smelled so bad that we could not stay. The owner was cursing continuously on the phone and he was wearing extremely dirty and smelly clothes. It was embarrasing for me to hear him using vulgar language in front of my colleagues. I later had to apologize to my colleagues as I took them there on my behalf. One of my colleague later told us that she saw cockroaches and flies in the restaurant near the food, and also saw dead mice near the aisles where groceries are kept. One time was enough for all of us. I, and my colleagues will never be going to this place again. As a courtesy I called the owner to tell him politely what my colleague saw ( cockroaches, flies and mice) and that we got sick after eating the take out but he instead of apologizing started using vulgar langauge towards me. This guy should learn some attiquetes as he is definitely in a wrong business (of customer service). I was told that the previous owners were excellent but they sold the place to this rude guy few years ago. Alas- we should have not gone to this FILTHY place. Posted on May 3, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Visited the place with my family few months ago. I was extremely disappointed to see a new owner. I think he gave his name as Rahan. He is very rude, obnoxious and crude. The food was terrible also as cooked chicken smelled bad .The place is not kept in hygienic conditions either. My children saw cockroaches near the food trays and mice on the shelfs inside the legumes, daals they were selling. It was embarassing to watch the owner cursing his employees in filtly language which I did not understand but he used some English words which I do not want to repeat. In a nutshell, once we saw mice and cockroaches we did not buy anything from the store and will never visit again. It is an extremely terrible place to visit now. I will NEVER be paying a visit to this place whose owner has no manners as to how to behave towards a customer. Posted on May 1, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ It is sad to say that owner is a scam artist, very dishonest. Very Expensive meat and all other food items, charging 1 dollar extra per pond on meat, prices of groceries are jacked up as well...it used to be a better under older administration, not anymore. Posted on May 20, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Now under new ownership. They have added a number of items and improved the appearance of the store. They need to work on their service though, depending on who is answering the phone/out front taking orders. One person is ok but the other needs to become more familiar with types of cuts of meat people ask for, and in general be a little more customer friendly facilitating orders and making sure people get their correct orders in a timely fashion. The quality of the meat itself is fine-- fresh and always in supply, so that is good. Hopefully the new management will get up to speed quickly. Posted on October 2, 2010 |

★★★★★ All kinds of meat cut and prepared in front of your eyes. The prices are a lot less then the Kosher meat you buy at Stop&Shop. Very friendly staff. They also have a generaous selection of Pakistani and Indian spices, grocerries. I paid $0.99/lb for fresh tomatoes and $3.99 for 10/lbs of onions. No supermarket beats their prices.
