★★★★★ This place is very good. Two sisters do all the cooking and their son handles service and he is very good at what he does. I would recommend beef Jhaa and egg plant with tarimand. I live in NYC and this was up their with some of the best bangali resturants. Their menu can definately use few more choices. Posted on April 29, 2016 |

★★★★☆ Halal food as the workers claim.
Nice and clean place, the service was good too, if there was anything to notice about the food. The amount of food was not that much comparing to the price. Posted on May 22, 2015 |

★★★★★ Wow! One of the best home cooked meal I ever had in any restaurant. A must for any one visiting this area. Family owned and operated. Posted on March 5, 2015 |

★★★★★ I was on vacation at Virginia beach with the family and looked on Zabihah for halal food in the area. The restaurant is around 20 minutes from the beach in Norfolk. We decided to eat lunch there with another family vacationing with us. We loved the food and the service. I would highly recommend it. If you are in the area you must try Cilantro, you will not be disappointed. Posted on August 8, 2014 |

★★★★★ We dined here while on a family vacation. We called around 8pm on a Saturday night and asked if they'd stay open for our party of 10 2 kids and they were happy to oblige. The restaurant is small, but very clean with cute authentic Bangladeshi decor. Our mom and mother-in-law are amazing cooks, so we have very high standards for Bangladeshi cuisine. We lowered our expectations a bit expecting typical North Indian fare, but we're pleasantly surprised to find real Bangladeshi food. The limeade is to die for! We tried all of the appetizer "chops" and everybody loved each one. They served us family style just as we do in our culture if you went to someone's house for a dinner party and were so very welcoming. The biryani was fragrant and tasty without feeling greasy. The chicken was probably my favorite, along with the salad which has a light fresh dressing. The broccoli and potato dish was also solid. The beef was okay, but I'd stick to the chicken if I had to choose. Finally the desserts! Roshogolla that rivaled my mom's was better than anything you can buy in the DC/VA/MD area! And the Firni (rice pudding) was also excellent! Probably the best aspects of this place were the little touches that signal a finer dining experience were warm dinner plates, real (and new) cutlery, nice presentation, and great attentive service. I'm hoping they open up a chain in the DC metro area (preferably MD!). Posted on June 24, 2014 |

★★★★★ I have been here three times and the food is excellent. They serve Ala carte style and it does end up being pricey especially for lunch. Posted on October 10, 2013 |
