★☆☆☆☆ Oh, unfortunately there can't be a rating without any stars. The worst Indian food I've ever eaten by far. When I received the food, I couldn't figure out what's in it. And trust me, I am an Indian from New Delhi and know my North Indian food really well (I don't have the same expectations from Indian cuisine out here, but this was just amazing !). I was like what the hell is in here! Then when I gathered the courage to dig in, I figured it was chick peas (chholey), spinach (saag) and cauliflower (gobhi matar). Now these are three separate dishes. Guess how they served them? Phenomenal! All in one container completely mixed as s***! I'm apologetic to use that word in the context of food, but this was just a mess. And mind you, this is what they call a "Lamb Combo". Ridiculous! I ordered a "Lamb Combo", and two out of the three dishes I ordered were wrong. To add to this, when I called them up to let them know how badly they had messed up, they argued saying that this is the lamb combo. I mean are they crazy or are they crazy?? And also what's interesting is, they said that a combo is eaten like this...all mixed up like you don't know what you're eating! Basically, they meant...ultimately that's what's going to happen in your stomach....why don't you just gobble it in like that....Lastly, when I asked for a refund, they were like I will have to come and return it or pay the delivery man to have it collected. I was like I've had it.....Folks, sincere piece of advice....stay away from this horrible eatery/restaurant.....the worst experience in my life! I've been ordering food all my life from a myriad places around the globe...never had to experience something like this. Posted on July 9, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ If you are ever really hungry and desperate for food, please hold on a little longer and find a better restaurant because this restaurant is terrible in the fact that it cost soooo much money (over 40$) for 4 items which were terrible and extremely poor quality. I really think that they should reconsider there quality and price because it was extremely outrageous what we experienced. My mum found that it was raw and she was extremely disappointed and it ruined her day. Do not go here until they fix the mess up that they have goin. We were tourists visiting New York and we were tired of walking and hungry we resorted to this place and we were completely disturbed and it killed our hunger because the food was bad. My sincere request to the shopkeeper is that they fix up the place. Posted on June 16, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ I'd been meaning to hit this place up due to all the good reviews. Not sure what all the rave's about. The food was not very spicy at all. I was also expecting some nice Kashmiri tea, which was not available. All the teas were boil-in bags. Not to mention everything's microwaved. The service was iffy, too, especially from the old guy with the mustache; he was kinda rude to some of the other customers. I might consider giving it a second chance, but there's just so many other places in New York I also wanna try. Posted on June 5, 2011 |

★★★★☆ Above average food. We had snacks, appetizers and chai. Located close to Ground Zero and 45-51 Park Place. Service was excellent. I recommend. Posted on January 18, 2011 |

★☆☆☆☆ This was by far the worst meal I've had in New York. The food is all pre-made, swimming in oil, and is microwaved upon request. Curries are prepared in cafeteria quantities and seem to be sitting around in room temperature for hours. The tea is also made by adding microwaved hot water to a Lipton tea bag. The bright, white sterile lighting also does not help. The only redeeming factor was that the rotis and naans were made fresh by the lady working there. Posted on January 31, 2008 |

★★☆☆☆ I recently went to New York with my wife and went to Pakistan Tea House based on the reviews. We were extremely disappointed and couldn't even eat our food. We ordered Chicken Boti and Kababs. Both were already made and thrown in the microwave for 4 minutes. My wife and I watched in shock as the cook did this. The only thing that is fresh is the naan which was good, but the rest is horrible. I think Cabbies probably love this place because its open until 4am, but we were really really disappointed and went home hungry. The only comforting thing is that we only spent $11 there. ★★★★☆ Best place for Pakistani food near BMCC, We loved it and still like it. I will appreciate if they improve their serving style; their serving style is like getting food in prism /:). As far as taste concern, food is tasty and fresh. I never mind going there just to have taste of my old school days. Posted on January 13, 2004 |

★★★★★ This small restaurant is a busy place 24-7. Lunch times are always busy, because of college students and cabbies. If you can get a seat, you are in for a treat. Even though they lack a menu due to their buffet style serving, they always have a wide variety of food. This restaurant have vegetable and non vegetable platters, which are a bargain at for the money. Since they are a normal restaurant, they have more food then just the platters. Downtown location make this place ideal for late night takeout or a quick bite to eat. This place not so clean due to high foot traffic but the food makes up for the decorations. ★★★★☆ The most delicious Pakistani food in that area. Tremendous value for money. Heavily crowded during the lunch-time hours, lines extend to the pavement. Open 24 hours of the day. Posted on July 17, 2000 |
