★★★★★ The place is small, sitting room for about 10 people if you sit close together. Better to take your food to go. Probably one of the best burgers I have ever had. I had the classic burger with pepper jack cheese, jalapeno's and caramalized onions. Patty was cooked perfectly, medium well. This is not your typical fast food burger place. It is pricey but you are paying for quality, organic ingredients. My wife had the chicken burger. The patty was on the dry side. But I really don't like chicken burgers anyways. The burgers are about 10 dollars each with $4 fries and $3 drinks. If you are into quality burgers than you have to check this place out. Posted on August 12, 2016 |

NR MaShaAllah, I had a few take out orders from time to time passing through NY. I'm so happy that the meat is Organic and Halal. That is the right way to do it! I usually always got the double burgers with fries and they are great. I also purchased Organic Meat from their other store down the street. You can tell the person (I've seen different people and at different times, in that way it sort of has a regular NY take out joint vibe ) what you want on the burger and how much ect... ★★★☆☆ Thumbs up for the great food, but thumbs down for the loud music at the place. The guy assembling our burgers was singing and dancing while getting our order ready. Tone it down a little please. Posted on January 1, 2018 |

★★★★★ Great LAMB burger and truffle fries. Got the lamb burger with pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, and caramelized onions. By far one of the best halal burgers I have had. Place is small and parking is difficult but well worth the trouble Posted on September 23, 2017 |

★☆☆☆☆ Service was horrible. Burgers were nothing special. Employee kept looking at me strange. Place is really small and does not have proper seating. Id give this place a 3/10. Worst halal burger place I been to. Posted on June 28, 2017 |

★★★★☆ During our stay in February, we visited this place. It is a very small establishment, with seating for about five or six people.
However, their burgers are really good. Good sized but their truffle fries were the stars .
Although we enjoyed the food, the service was pretty bad. The person who took our order, didn't seem interested nor did he seem happy. Posted on February 25, 2017 |

★★★★★ I was able to try everything on the menu. The chicken burger is very good and the flavor is like no other, however, I felt it was dry. The lamb burger was also really good, but not worth the money, imo. The beef burger was the best. I've had very few burgers this good and that includes non Z. The fries are nothing special but i do enjoy the flavor of the truffle fries. At around $10-12 a burger and $4 for a small cup of fries, it would be hard to justify eating here often but I understand the quality of the meat is very high. Posted on November 13, 2016 |

★★★★★ I am proud of Khalid, Bassam & Russell for opening Honest Chops and expanding their venture into the Halal Burger business. I wish them nothing but more SUCCESS! On to the burger.. I was told the lamb burger is the most popular on their menu so I went ahead and ordered it with pepper jack cheese! It was the second time I had a lamb burger in my life since its rare to find one. (Turkish restaurants usually offer them) MAN!.. that lamb patty had a spicy delicious kick to it so no need to mess it up with any extra sauces! It was cooked perfectly medium where it wasn't dry. The pepper jack cheese along with the standard toppings complimented the burger patty well and the sweet brioche bun complimented the whole burger! Overall it was simple and very tasty ... I'll be back to try the beef burger next! Posted on May 3, 2016 |

★★★★★ They have the best halal burgers in the city, and the fries are great. The seating is limited. Posted on May 2, 2016 |

★★★★☆ This is a halal burger restaurant opened by the proprietors of Honest Chops. Located on bustling Macdougal Street in Greenwich Village, the restaurant has very limited seating, so take-out is a safer bet. The streets are narrow and parking is tight, so leave the Monster Miata at home. There is no restroom.
The standard burger ($10) consists of a 6oz burger with lettuce and tomato in a brioche bun. Toppings (grilled onions, cheese, etc.) are available, each for another $0.50-1. The patty is definitely fresh and a cut above, but the bready and sugary brioche brings the whole burger down a notch. The fries ($3) are freshly-cut and excellent though the portion size is small. Overall, a very good meal and one worth returning to, just not at peak time. Posted on April 30, 2016 |
