★★★★☆ We stopped for lunch at this restaurant on our way back from Niagara Falls. The Bangladeshi owner is a very nice man. He allowed a woman to use his premise to pray Zhuhr (she did not eat there). We had wanted to pray while waiting for the food but the owner insisted we eat first. The chicken tikka masala and chicken korma was well received by my party. The lamb biryani was also very good. After lunch, he lead us upstairs to his living quarters which was very clean and tidy. After our prayers, he brought us kheer on the house. Such hospitality. Posted on September 7, 2014 |

★★★☆☆ A nice Bangladeshi Auntie assured us that all the lamb dishes were halal as well as the tandoori chicken. The lamb biryani was quite good but the lamb tikka masala and the lamb jalfrazi left much to be desired. The meat in those dishes was quite tough, in the biryani however it seemed much softer and better tasting. The mango lassi seemed to be a hit with my friends. They had a nice selection of south asian desserts on the menu. I thought the prices were kind of steep, most entrees averaged about $15 dollars a plate but they are the only halal option in this neck of the woods as far as I know. The service was commendable.
