★★★★★ June 2016 Review: 5 star
Appears to be the owners did get their act together and improved a ton. Good to see the inside of the shop much more cleaner and the door closed with air conditioner turned ON inside the shop which in itself takes care of bugs. Will definitely recommend others to try it out... I never had an issue with the Mithai even before but hygienic issues did bother me which are now taken care off Kudos to the new management
September 2013 Review: 1 star
Liked the Matthai quite a bit... This last time I went there I saw the BIG SIZED ANTS comfortably crawling inside the glass display which shelves the Matthai. I have no idea why they leave the doors open all the time and be so unhygienic. Walked str8 out of the door never to return. I hope the owner gets his/her act together and for ONCE a Desi business should focus on cleansiness and not just Halal signs hanging outside the window Posted on June 16, 2016 |

★★★★★ My family loves their sweets. Recently i ordered special ladoos from them. They were so good that who ever tried them asked me where i got them. I have referred many ppl to them and all seem to love their sweets. I hope they keep up with the quality. Posted on July 9, 2014 |

★★★★★ Pure Khoya Sweets (as advertised)
Tried a wide variety of delicacies from this takeout joint. Definitely capture the taste of Pakistan which lacked in north American sweets in general. While places specialize in one of two specif kinds, these guy master almost everything on their menu.
Personal recommendation would be Gulab Jamun, Jalebi and Beef Samosas. Posted on December 11, 2013 |

★★★★★ Went to the shop on a friend's recommendation. Love the sweets, samosas are also really good. I think they have the best sweets in town. Shop is small but the prices are really reasonable unlike some of the other places i used to. Posted on November 19, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ Small dingy shop with okay mithai. Their mithai is overrated. Can't be compared to Al-Karam Sweets in Scarborough. Posted on April 20, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Gotta admit with other folks here, best samosas and namak-paarey in town. The sweets are good too for the price. Posted on September 7, 2012 |

★★★★★ If you want the real Paki Mathai, than this is the place. They use fresh milk and Khoya which gives it the best taste. I didn't like their samosas but hands down they have the best Mathai in Canada. Posted on October 24, 2007 |

★★★★★ Amazing sweets and amazing Samosas!!!! I went to their shop couple of days before Eid based on a friends recommendation. First the guys at the counter were very friendly and gave me some samples to try. I bought couple of lbs of sweets and a dozen veg samosa. Let me tell you I have tried many other sweets places in toronto area but these guys beat everyone hands down, plus they seem to be cheaper. I told couple of my friends and everyone of them loved the sweets and samosas. I wanted to try their jalebis but they didn't have them due to being busy for Eid, but i heard they have the best jalebis in town. I think this place is a must for ppl who like desi sweets.
