★★★☆☆ The only decent dish to order here is the chilli chicken, everything ive ever had the guts to try has always turned out to be a disappointment. ★★☆☆☆ My experience with the restaurant was good but recently I am not too happy about their serving quantities. Also I have noticed variations in taste of their chili chicken. Most times I order take and recently the quantities have been going less and less but recently I ordered take out again and this time the chili chicken quantity was literally half the bowl which use to be full. I remember ordering the same stuff and I was hardly able to finish it. I complained several times about that but looks like management don’t care. I don’t mind if they raise the price a little bit, because I understand the food input prices are little higher but serving less quantity is not a good idea. Serving halal food and serving alcohol are two different things. As long as one is not consuming it, there should be no problem. Don't we go to our office parties where the alcohol is served? ★★★★☆ If you are trying this place for the first time, make sure you've done your homework right in terms of what to order. Don't wander off thinking let's try something new today like Chicken in black bean sauce. Stick with the original standard chinese food and you will be delighted. Personally I'd recommend the chicken manchurian. Yes, it's really spicy too. Prices are reasonable and the place had a clean and pleasant atmosphere. They have good deals on lunch if you're nearby. I have to agree with some fellow reviewers that 'I have had better'. We asked for chopsticks, and when we received them, they were unclean, and the wooden ones were not that great either. The owner is not muslim but I find it very admirable that he went to such lengths to make this resaturant approachable to muslims. ★★★★★ Great Food - It was hot and spicy, and all the ingredients tasted fresh. Tried my favorite shrimp pakoras and chili chicken. The pakoras were full of shrimp, and the chicken was spicy without being dry. On request, I was also shown an invoice from Maple Leaf to prove that the food was indeed 100% halal.
