★☆☆☆☆ Asalama-Laikum. I recently moved back to Milwaukee and was disappointed to find this place having been converted to a hookah lounge that also happens to serve food. They only had kufta kebab, so I got it with hummus and salad. The kufta kebab was bland and the salad wasn't cold. The hummus was decent. I don't think I'll be coming back. Posted on May 27, 2015
★★★☆☆ First off, I would like to say that the people who work here are extremely nice, friendly and good muslims. Allah SWT reward them.
Now into my review: they have a good variety of middle eastern food. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich and my husband got the beef kabob sandwich with a side order of french fries. The food was fair is about all I can say. I expected a little more honestly since the restaurant is in the heart of the Muslim area of milwaukee. I haven't tried any of their other foods or their buffet and probably won't because it's the same price as places that are twenty times better. The food wasn't very tasty, very plain and basic and the french fries were just greasy potatoes with no attempt of flavoring or even salting.
I also tried to get some kunafa that they advertise in their menu and outside their restaurant and they said they don't make kunafa anymore. That was a huge disappointment. Qadr Allah wa ma shaa fa'al. In the end, if you're hungry the food is edible and reasonably priced but if you can find another place that has more and better reviews, go there. Allah SWT reward them for their efforts and make them continuously successful. Posted on December 8, 2014
★★★★☆ If you are looking for the best in Milwaukee cooking Midelestern grill, this is the one. Also lintel soup is great. Shawarma is nice. Posted on November 1, 2014
