875 Main Street East, Unit 3, Milton, ON L9T 3Z3
As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections. Due to the excellent success in quality and services, Sam has opened several Osmow's locations. Added on June 13, 2012 and last updated 5 years ago

The staff of this restaurant has verbally confirmed halal status. The owner of Osmow's and the employees say the food is Halal, but they have not taken the initiative to put it on the board outside, or on the menu, nor do they have a Halal certificate.

NR I went to this location a few times now and every time I wan to verify the meat suppliers I get to hear the meat is halal and from our own franchise and the owner knows the name he will come and tell.
The employees have no idea where the meat comes from. And also there's no Nora's or sign for halal. Hand slaughtered or machine slaughtered nothing. It's only verbally confirmed which I doubt now. Sadly I had food three times there but till I hear it from the owner the name of the supplier and authenticity of the halal meat, I will not go back!!
P.S I just called in and asked the cashier (girl) and she asked someone and got back to me saying the same repetitive answer, the owner will be in tomorrow apni can call in and ask him!

★★☆☆☆ Extremely subpar food when compared to the Mississauga location. Shawarma chicken is awfully dry, and so is the Shish Taouk. Really disappointed with quality of food and vegetables. And unfortunately they are now officially licensed to sell alcohol. Disappointing. Posted on January 17, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ I came here to order the Philly cheesesteak, but the cashier responded that he was too busy to make it. I'm not joking. There were only two people in the restaurant advise going somewhere else. In the future I will always be too busy to come to this restaurant Posted on October 5, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Not as good as the Mississauga location. The staff is not friendly at all. In order for them to survive and have a greater clientele. They must operate like their Mississauga location. At this location portions are small, and the food is not prepared the same way as the Mississauga location. I still go to Streetsville location like many other people i know who are not happy with this location. Posted on March 10, 2013 |
