★★★☆☆ This is good if you order fresh food. Don't go for buffet during week days. They generally keep stale food. But if you order food from menu then it is good. Service is also reasonable. Posted on September 5, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Having been coming here off and on and honestly will not come back. The is just average and has been decreasing in quality every visit, the chaat on the other hand was very good. Posted on August 24, 2015 |

★★★★☆ I love the food one of the best Pakistani food I had in the dc area Posted on September 21, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Only tried their weekend brunch. Good quality food, decent service. Tasted of quality Pakistani food. Look forward to going there again. Posted on July 18, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Catered from here for my wedding...total disaster. First we were short on food because the owner didn't cook enough and even apologized for not cooking enough for the head count given and second, the waiters had no idea what to do. Completely clueless! Awful service. Abysmal food. Posted on July 5, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ I been there yesterday. It was a good experience. The food was average but the decor was great and the service was excellent. The prices were really high and the quantity pretty small. Posted on April 30, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ This is a quaint little restaurant tucked away kind of in a random place. But the interior is really beautiful very true to Pakistani culture. The food was amazing, but this is not a cheap place to eat. No proper place to pray but since it wasn't busy they accommodated us. It would have been a perfect experience except for the provocative indian music playing with highly suggestive lyrics. Thankfully our child wasn't listening to the music (partially because I took care to engage her in conversation at this point) otherwise we would have had a lot of awkward questions on our hands. That was super disappointing and for that reason I would probably opt for takeout next time. Posted on December 9, 2012 |

★★★★★ Best atmosphere around. Buffet is best on weekends. Food is good. Call ahead if in hurry or to make reservations. I've been coming since their opening Posted on August 26, 2012 |

★★★★★ I'm a harsh critic. Ask anyone that knows me. I'm also Punjabi, so I know good Punjabi food thanks to my ummi G, Alhamdulillah. That being said, this is THE best Desi restaurant I've ever been to. It's also the only Desi restaurant I'll eat at. I'm gonna say this, and I know it's a bold statement to make, but it's true: the food literally tastes like my mom is slaving away in the kitchen and churning out old family goodies. Every single thing I've had here is delicious.
I don't come here consistently, it's just too far. I usually come with family, and it does end up being fairly pricey, especially since we order tons of food. The portions aren't huge, so you sort of need to order multiple dishes, even with very few people. I've recommended it to all of my friends and everyone loves this place. Many end up taking their families there to celebrate special occasions and are totally satisfied.
The service is alright. I especially love the space itself, the way it's decorated reminds me of being in a village in Pakistan. Their attention to detail with that is impressive.
They do buffets on the weekends for brunch. Despite being Punjabi, I can't heavily overeat that early in the morning. I have had it though and it's decent. The Nihari and the Haleem are really good. I've heard the food isn't as good recently. It's been a few months since I've been so I don't know what that's about. It's still being owned and managed by the same brother as far as I know, so I don't see why anything would change drastically. Posted on August 24, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Service is slow. They need to hire more staff to serve.
Food quantity isnt much. A 15 dollar appetizer has just enough for 2 people. Food does taste good but waiting 30 minutes to have our food served isnt worth it Posted on May 1, 2012 |

★★☆☆☆ There are good and bad with this restaurant like any other restaurant, but here the bad out weights the good and of course don’t go by the name, don’t order any tandoor items especially meats. We ordered whole tandoori chicken, you could clearly tell they have kept it pre-boiled, colored it and Allah know what they did before presenting it to us. They are good at curries and Naan. Would I return, no. Posted on December 1, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Great decor. When I went first time in May 2011, the food and service both were very good. I bit pricy but good. Second time the food quality was not that good and service also went down. Posted on November 25, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ This restaurant has very nice décor and ambiance, however it lacks in service, food quality and food portion size. Went here for dinner and were seated pretty quick, however our food took almost an hour to be prepared. We ordered the papri chaat, boneless chicken biryani and tawa chicken. Just the papri chaat took 40 minutes to come out and it was an extremely small portion for the $5 they were charging. All of the portions were very small. Me and my wife both have small appetites and all the food we ordered was just enough for us. Also the boneless biryani we ordered was actually made with bone-in chicken.
The service was also not very good. After we ordered we did not even get offered a refill of water. Also after we finished our papri chaat our waitress came by to take our used dishes. She asked us to pick up the used spoons while she took our used dishes. Thinking that she would grab the spoons from us after she took our dishes, she proceeded to walk away with our dishes. At this point me and my wife were just looking at each other with a confused look as each of us were holding the used spoons in our hands and had no where to put them. I do not know what our waitress expected us to do with our used utensils because we did not have any food on the table nor plates to put them. Overall the chicken biryani was average and the papri chaat was below average. The tawa chicken was actually really good. Eventhough some of the food here was pretty good and the restaurant is very nicely decorated; I do not think we will be going back here because the prices are really high for the food they server and they are lacking in the customer service department. ★★☆☆☆ This restaurant does not serve naan with their entrees. I went to this restaurant on a busy night and had a terrible experience. My fiance and I were seated but didn't see a server for fifteen minutes until I finally got up to ask for help. The boneless chicken entree had shards of bone in it. The hostess and the decorations are nice but that does not make up for terrible service. Posted on May 27, 2011 |

★★★★★ I have not been here in awhile but the quality of their food is definitely superb. The ambience and decor is even better, in fact, probably the best I've seen of any South Asian restaurant in the DC metro area. Their buffet is full of variety and the food is always fresh and delicious. Posted on August 25, 2009 |

★★★★★ great atmosphere and ambience. i've been there only twice, once for the buffet and another time with relatives from out of state. buffet was great with multitude of choices. we ordered from the menu the second time. food was good, but a bit pricey compared to other desi restaurants but on par with other quality indian / american restaurants. friendly and professional staff. you really feel like you're eating at a good desi restaurant instead of some kabob joint. ★★★★★ We had their brunch buffet on a weekend. It was $10.95 each but was totally worth it. They had nice number of items on the buffet including Halwa Puri and all of them tasted very delicious. It is run by nice Pakistani owners and the women owners were wearing traditional Pakistani clothes. On the weekend it was very busy and we had to wait 20 minutes. We also saw some local Americans eating there lunch buffet also. It is not a very large place (30 people max) but it is a very nice family restaurant. Posted on June 4, 2009 |

★★★★★ Amazing. I think this is the best Pakistani restaurant in the United States. I write this as a Pakistani and a lover of Pakistani food. Finally, a Pakistani restaurateur who gets what hospitality and presentation mean.
TV is not a kabob joint. It has a FULL menu of real Lahori food. The food is amazing. Even the selection of bread is abundant (naan, paratha, poori, etc.). The full menu is on the website.
It's very clean.
Ambiance is great with lovely Pakistani decorations.
The service is excellent. Not entirely like clockwork, but very good.
If you were dreaming of that Pakistani restaurant with great ambiance, service and good, then your dream has come true.
I had the buffet. Amazing. The buffet was better than any meal I've had at other restaurants, excluding Ravi. For $9.99, I had poori, halva, aloo bhuja, cholay, tandoori chicken, kichri, haleem, nihari, and maybe other stuff. There was also kheer and paya. All A-list dishes. It was difficult to choose among them for seconds. My stomach was full, so it made the choice for me. The imli and raita were great also. I also added lassi and a naan. The naan was HUGE and buttery.
I knew I was going to pig out here, so I exercised before the buffet and didn't eat beforehand. Maybe you should do the same.
I love Ravi. But sometimes I want more than a kabob. This place is just fabulous. You will not regret going here. Instead, you'll fall in love!!
Btw, I went here before and had a regular meal (not a buffet). If you go for a regular meal, try the gulab jamin desert. The gulab jamins are hot and served on top of Pakistani ice cream. Great stuff! Posted on April 11, 2009 |

★★★★☆ Nice restaurant decor, food and service. We were attending a wedding in the area and went there for lunch. We were more than 30 persons and the service was good. Posted on April 7, 2009 |

★★★★★ By far the best Ambiance for any Desi/Muslim Restaurant so far. It is really was rejuvinating. We visited them twice in the Ramadan of 07 and we drove from Columbia, MD just for their food. Their Buffet is not as extensive as the ones found near Baltimore but their menu items are extremely good. If you crave for a true taste of Pakistani/Indian punjabi village, this is the only place so far that I know of to go to. And I have gone to many places in US. Their service during Iftar is exceptional especially with their choice of milk or beverage for your Iftar. The owner, Mr. Wahla and his wife were extremly hospitable and friendly. If you are in the area, regardless of your level of hunger, please visit this place. You will not be disappointed. Guaranteed. Posted on August 28, 2008 |

★★★☆☆ There food quality was much better when they opened, but the quality has somewhat gone down. Also there prices are way too high. I use to go there and this place was pact, demonstrating that there is such a high demand for this type of food in Manassas area. However some other restaurants especially like BBQ delight which have opened recently are much better than Tandoori. Posted on July 9, 2008 |

★★★★☆ We visited this restaurant for Sunday Brunch, food selection was good, and the fact that they serve your choice of naan/puri or paratha fresh is what i loved. They should try to expand as they could do with more space as it seems to fill up really quick! Posted on July 3, 2008 |

NR This place used to be really good when it opened last year but the quality has declined. The portions are definitely a lot smaller now than they were last year. I've been to competing restaurants in the same area. The quality of food is slightly better at those places and the prices are lower. Posted on May 8, 2008 |

★★★★★ This is a great restaurant by many standards: the food is top-notch, the decor is very tasteful, and the service is fantastic - something that many Muslim eateries are lacking. I went to Tandoori Village with a few friends from New York City, and we were all impressed and satisfied. I think this may be the best halal restaurant in the Washington area. ★★★★★ Thanks to this site we found this nice restaurant. We’ve been there twice since. This is a very nice Pakistani restaurant with great ambiance give you a quick peak at Pakistani village. We’ve tried Saturday and Wednesday buffet and we were pleasantly surprised with the high quality of food and extremely friendly and courteous service. Quality of the food is unlike any other restaurant and very authentic Punjabi taste. You’ll never get stale Naan as they bring fresh Naan 2 u. My advices like last reader is don’t sell out and degrade the taste of food, quality of service or the cleanliness. Pakistani food lovers get your treadmill ready as after visiting this restaurant you’ll have to work out few extra hours as you won’t be able to stop eating their great tasting food. They do take credit cards. Posted on February 16, 2008 |

★★★★☆ This Pakistani restaurant has simple but nice decor, good ambience. The service is good. I tried the mix kabab platter for appetizer, the chicken was good but not the beef kabab. For main course I orderd the Chicken Karhai, a chef specialty. They serverd with rice and nan. Karahi was very good but not excellent, a bit dry. This is definitely one of the better Pakistani restaurant, that I would recommend. Posted on November 29, 2007 |

★★★★★ I was very skeptical when I saw all these great review for this restaurant. I was thinking the owner is leaving all these comments but I can tell you all these people are right. Tandoori Village is amazing. I tried chicken pakora as an appetizer and Tawa Chicken with Plain and Onion naans. This was a culinary experience to remember. I definitely recommend this place for food, service and ambiance. Posted on November 6, 2007 |

★★★★★ I came onto this website in order to write a review about the great experience I had recently at the Tandoori Village Restaurant when I took my family for aftari. However, I was disappointed to find the review written by VAK.I would like to point out a few things:yes, for some people the aftari buffet might be pricy, but i think they offer a lot for the money. The food is excellent, service is also very good, and the atmosphere is lovely.I have been to the restaurant many times before and I can personally say that the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home even though I don't them personally. As a community we should be supportive and proud of the place they have created,as it is truely the only decent place around for Pakistani food.Lets appreciate somethings thats good and help keep them around for years to come. ★★★★★ I normally do not like eating desi food from restaurants b/c my mother's cooking is so good. I went to this restaurant with my entire family and we absolutely loved it, it tasted exactly like home-cooking. The BEST desi restaurant I've ever been to. The place is a bit small, and the food does take a while, but it's beautifully decorated, and well worth the wait. Posted on September 13, 2007 |

★★★★★ My grandpa is visiting us from Pakistan, (Islamabad). He is an extremely picky eater, and never gets satisfied with the quality of restaurant food. We took him there, and surprisingly he gave it a 10/10. He appreciated the food a lot. The place is decorated very tastefully, and it's neat and clean. The service is polite and courteous. The crockery matches the excellence of the food. Our whole family would like to go there again. Posted on July 23, 2007 |

★★★★★ By far the most impressive Pakistani halal restaurant in Northern Virginia!!This restaurant has only been open for less than three months and i am already a regular. Outstanding food, amazing service, emaculate place with a great ambience. This is truely a place to be experienced where you wouldn't be embarassed to take your friends, family, and the "goras".The place has a warm, welcoming, and cozy feel to it.The restaurant is buzzing at the weekends so be prepared for a wait.I cant wait for the weekend again when i can go back for the halwa puri. Mmmmmmmmm!
Ps. This is also the only Pakistani restaurant with clean bathrooms!!Dont forget to check them out even if you dont need to go!!! Posted on July 9, 2007 |

★★★★★ EXCELLENT FOOD! This is a relatively new establishment. The food is finger licking good, the owners are extremely polite and the place is so clean that Mr. Clean himself would be put to shame. Me and my family were all delighted to have visited there and hope to go there again. We drove 45 mins for halwa puri but they had an amazing buffet. $9 per person. well worth it!!. the halwa, cholay, chicken everything was amazing..freshly fried poories and fresh naan. The BEST place for desi foor in the greater DC area..PERIOD!! They also cater. Posted on July 8, 2007 |

★★★★★ Great service, amazing ambiance (best I've seen in a Pakistani restaurant in the US), really good food. Be prepared for the owner's rather sarcastic sense of humor. I hope they maintain the quality and service! Posted on July 7, 2007 |

★★★★★ The ambience and the decor of the restaurant is excellent. The owners are very friendly and the service great. The price might be a bit on the high side but they have lunch buffets on weekdays and brunch (halwa puri, nihari, haleem and all) on weekends. The food is excellent although the kababs dont have much spice. That is probably done to cater to the taste of the locals. Their desserts are really good including gajar ka halwa. Me and my wife drove all the way from Morgantown, WV to have food and were pleasantly surprised. Posted on July 1, 2007 |

★★★★★ This restaurant is very beautiful from the door on the outside to the inside. The food smells and taste incredible. Very friendly service. You get your moneys worth . I drove there from woodbridge and would back again. I like this place better than than one in my neighborhood. There also have a pray room.I highly recommend this establishment. ★★★★★ This restaurant recently opened in Manassas. The restaurant serves Punjabi style cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised as I walked in the door. The ambiance and décor was authentic. The restaurant was small but very cozy and exquisitely decorated. The owners obviously paid great attention to detail. This attention to detail transcends onto the food. The dishes we ordered were delicious and well presented. Finally we have a nice, clean halal sit down restaurant in the area where diners feel pampered. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. My family looks forward to going again very soon! I highly recommend this establishment. Posted on May 1, 2007 |
