★★☆☆☆ I have never been to this place. Just called to find out the closing time of the restaurant and got a rude response in keeping with the horrific reviews about the owner's behavior on multiple websites. reviews about the food are mixed but customer service is a critical component of any business in my opinion. probably would never go there. ★☆☆☆☆ I have submitted my review two times but still not available
I have to worn other brothers and sisters about this restaurant
It's simply the dirtiest, the worst and the most horrible place to be visited you cannot call this place a restaurant. It is a nightmare.
I have no idea why the city allows for such place to be in business. Posted on February 29, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ I am new in Madison,WI and wanted to try this place as it was recommended by Zabihah.com. I have experienced one of the worst customer service ever. the guy seems to be the owner of the place as he was comfortably sitting working on his laptop and doing papers and talking on the phone and didnt bother to greet me as i entered.
When I asked for Lamb Biryani - he went straight back openned his fridge put rice and lamb pieces which were more fat than meat and microwave the whole plate and brought it out to the table. He didnt bother asking for yougart/ salad/ drink/ water!!! Rice smelled bad and that dish DID NOT look like Biryani to me. I told him i will not be eating this and if he like he can charge me for it- instead of asking what is wrong -- he said just leave and dont come back to me ever!!! I told him, I will not thats for sure but if he desire - he can charge me for his food- and gave him the credit card- He became more rude and asked me to leave. I HIGHLY recommend not to go to this place ever. FOOD quality is really bad if not frozen. -- I was happy with my Subway sandwich later :) Posted on March 31, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ I have been living in Madison for five years. Initially this was owned by another owner had really good food. Ever since the management has changed this restuant has gone not even one star in my view. It is not becuase the resturant has small area for siting but the quality of the food has gone bad. I have gone there many times becuase I feel I should suport muslim stores. However the borhter has not vrey bad attitude it is very hard for him to convey salam sometimes. I woud not want other muslim to waste there money at this place. Posted on March 7, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ Wow, are you kidding me? This buffet didn't even serve naan with their food! The quality was very poor, the thing labeled kabob, was more like a frozen beef pattie! Living in Madison, this is the only option for halal food, and it's not good. Posted on August 9, 2009 |

★★☆☆☆ My wife and I are on a roadtrip through Wisconsin and drove through Kenosha, Racine, Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Greenbay, Appleton, and Oshkosh without finding a restaurant serving zabhiha meat. Suffice to say, we were looking forward to eating at Campus Biryani and Kabob. Imagine the degree of disappointment required to make us leave without ordering anything. On 2/24/07 at around 2pm, all 4 or 5 tables in the restaurant were unclean, and after we picked the cleanest one, I proceeded to wipe it off with a napkin, and found that sticky food caked on the table surface couldn't be easily removed, and had clearly been there for a long time. The laminated orange menus at the counter were greasy, and I had to wipe my fingers after putting them down. I've visited 13 of the 15 halal desi restaurants in San Francisco, and have come to expect lower standards of cleanliness from Muslim restaurants in the US, although I don't know why; "cleanliness is half of faith" is a well-known saying of our Prophet (saws). Add to that the length of our roadtrip in Wisconsin, and we were ready to tolerate nearly anything, but this place really disappointed us. This would never be tolerated by nonmuslims, why do we muslims tolerate it? The fact that this is probably the only completely halal restaurant in the city of Madison should inspire a sense of responsibility in the management, rather than instill a sense complacency that muslims who wish to eat at a zabihah restaurant have nowhere else to go. We voted with our feet, and went to a sushi restaurant. Posted on February 25, 2007 |

★★★☆☆ The food is ordainary. I was not very impressed with the quality of food. The owner is very friendly and loves to talk about pakistani politics. Its a very small place and nothing very fancy. I guess the only reason to visit this place is if you are around and looking for halal food. Posted on September 16, 2006 |

★★★★★ Masha Allah very good food. specially chicken biryani is totally awesome. We stopped by on the way to Wisconsin Dells, since there are no Halal places in that area. There is one drawback that they don't accept any credit cards, so have enough cash on you if you plan to visit this place. Otherwise, food is very good and place is very clean. ★★★★☆ This place is the only place I know of in Madison which serves Zabihah Halal food.
The Biriyani is very good for the price, eventhough I would like them to increase the portion little bit more.
All other items are good.
Its a small place, like typical Campus site hotels in India.
The owner is good Muslim. Posted on July 1, 2005 |
